It was a bug where the wheel spins indefinitely, page needs refreshing, error popping out etc.

Lazada has gotten off easy by putting the blame on the bug. Took three days for them to notice, two days of downtime, another three to fix, and it's now a Saturday (none of their DBAs work during the weekends - e.g. PEDAS20.)

I doubt the golden vouchers will return, but one could always hope.

Can you guys tell me what actually happened during the PEDAS20? It's a glitch and how much discount were given that time?

Based on my personal experience so far with Lazada so far:
Phone call CS: Either no one pickup or number is not available.
Email CS: two times reply me after 3 days and three times never reply me.
Facebook PM: All five times reply me after a few hours.

Don't post on their Facebook page, just personal message them. You save them faces, they'll usually help you fast. Faster than opening a case through email or through their website.

Few weeks ago I cancelled an order 2 hours after the order is confirmed, through Live Chat. I just key in the order details & request for cancellation. 'Bob' asked some questions (why cancel, i replied wrong color, need to reorder) and within 30 seconds my cancellation is approved. few hours later, my order status became "Closed". Refund was received in 2 days into my credit card. Of course, live chat is only available during office hour.

Perhaps, live chat during office hour is another option to try.

Not really, the former is better while the latter is not so. It depends on what do you want to do with it, if you want to record 4k then you need the former, if not then the latter would suffice.

lol. many people don't have patience to wait for the CS via phone calls. it may take up to 10-15 minutes to wait for the CS but they'll answer. it's different from not answering at all.

That justify the pricing difference. Not really recording 4K, just a normal use on smartphone(Redmi Note 2 & Redmi 2). Let say taking picture, burst mode - is it better to use the former, because the phone can write & read the micro SD fast? or the phone using RAM first then write it on micro SD?
