Hi, I would like to ask those who have purchased or tried out this laptop in Malaysia. I know I can just go to a shop to see it but I'm just too swamped with work to go during opening hours.

1. What's the build quality like? (as I will also carry it around a lot for presentations)

2. Is it an aluminum body or plastic?

3. Does it overheat easily?

(The reason why I'm asking is because I'm currently using an Asus N56vz (i7 3630m GTX 650m) and it can overheat to a point that I get blue screen just by watching a blu ray remux via HDMI to TV (even with good ventilation).

4. What do you like and dislike about it?

I'm quite ok with the specs, but wondering what it's really like from your experience.

*edit: I'd like to add that I'm getting such a heavy laptop because I also use it for designing.

Really hard to give you answer. if you like it just buy it depend on yours.

Specs depend, high spec more expensive. if you more hardcore gamer sure go high spec high CPU & GPU.

I suggest looking up Illegear with that option. It will net you SSD with HDD and good performance and good warranty services.

Best to get i7 because of hyper threading. Then if possible upgrade to the maximum allowed RAM.

This 3 spec is come with 6th gen Intel CPU and all can support 1 slot PCIe 3.0 SSD (If you are designer you need this PCIe SSD for running your software and job more faster).

Depend which one you like.  but i can suggest you go to PX60 that one you will like it.
if you like full colour multi keyboard you can go to GE72/GE62 that one too.

kaby lake will enhance more ddr4 memory and fully utilized + performance for sure is much better  if you not urgent. then its worth to wait. almost q4.

if the performance will add 10% or more then its worth to wait, otherwise you can get DDR4 with cheaper price everywhere.

introduction next gen processor + ddr4 entering 2nd year in market and end cycle of ddr3. it could be more than 10%.

Despite some tease, seriously ts you really should wait.

The new ones pascal or amd will be at least twice the performance and it shouldn't be too long of a wait.

I'll use the waiting time to up my budget. Whenever it does come, i'll know i'm getting the very best i can afford.....

If the next gen proc providing better speed then more than 10% will become true.
