I just went to EY interview on 21st December. The interview was not as hard as I thought, like mostly general questions you can find on google. But I did ask him a lot, during my turn to ask the interviewer. He mostly debunked the myths that auditors will go home at 2-3am. It actually depends on which industry you're assigned to (especially if you're in financial services) and the proficiency of the auditor in performing his work. Honestly I had the least expectation to be shortlisted for the face-to-face interview. I thought they gonna prioritize abroad students and those who used to intern there, rather than UiTM students like me lol. My co-curricular activities are not that outstanding, only actively involved with my faculty's events. I don't know, may be my CGPA helps, since the interviewer keeps asking about my CGPA and looking at my academic transcripts, dean's list certificates. QUOTE(Evilliving44 @ Nov 17 2018, 03:22 PM) Hey guys. I am partially qualified in ACCA. I was wondering should I apply for small/medium firms first or straight go into Big 4? How big are the chances to get into Big 4 around near Dec/Jan? How long is the processing time? Most Big 4s have no vacancies for the time being. The next intake for all Big 4s on July 2019. But you can still apply early.

QUOTE(kolokua @ Dec 14 2018, 08:05 PM) Hi guys, so I'm pursuing a degree related to construction, final year, local uni, CGPA 2.65 but with outstanding co-curricular experiences. What are my chances of being accepted to the Big 4 as an advisory intern? From what I know, the minimum CGPA is around 3.30. but you can try since you have incredible co-curricular involvements. QUOTE(arissa @ Jan 21 2019, 08:32 PM) Dear Sifus and seniors, Can I know of there is any minimum acceptance for fresh grad each year for big 4? From what I heard, the min requirements for cgpa for fresh grad to enter is cgpa 3.0, is this still relevant? Cz I had applied for an internship in Deloitte but haven't got any replies from them and I guess it's due to my cgpa 3.2. My friends who got cgpa 3.5 above all got email replied from Deloitte. Luckily I got an internship with PwC this coming Feb tho😊 So I am super worried that I might not get a job in big 4 if my cgpa is still around 3.2. Does it diffenciate me alot form others due to my CGPA? I got nice SPM and diploma results, but my degree results just sucks. Appreciate if any Sifus can give me a piece of advice on this matter☺☺ In my EY job offer letter, it says i need to maintain at least second upper class CGPA, so I guess 3.00 and above? I hope so, my last semester was tough the lecturers so kedekut only give average assignments carry marks to all students So lucky got PWC. Delloite so hard to enter not even a reply for my application. I applied all Big 4, only EY and KPMG bother to reply my job application. This post has been edited by artelle90: Jan 31 2019, 09:34 PM

QUOTE(xkjon @ Jan 25 2019, 04:03 PM) Yeah, I ended up joining EY and I got along well with the team I worked with, although the workload was pretty crap. But of course, every firm has their own politics - just need to know how to navigate through it and block it out. Any advise for newbie like me? I'm so nervous to start working there soon. Even oomf just left the company due to work pressure This post has been edited by artelle90: Jan 31 2019, 09:38 PM

QUOTE(oldlady94 @ May 30 2019, 01:23 PM) apart from my upcoming PWC assessment, i've completed EY assessment 2 months ago, however i did not receive any email regarding my application whether it has been rejected or not, i sent an email to the recruiting team but still no response, what shall i do? call them? lol face the same situation before. Waited for like almost 2 months, then I sent an email to the person-in-charge and she called me the next day apologizing that she forgot to inform me cuz she's on a long holiday. QUOTE(Alonso35 @ Jun 28 2019, 12:36 PM) I’m not really sure on this.. In my case the HR told me before the interview on which department I will be assigned to and the senior manager whom interviewed me also from the same department. Ohh cool, see you on Monday then ☺️ This post has been edited by artelle90: Jun 28 2019, 11:37 PM

QUOTE(Wanyee @ Aug 21 2019, 12:20 AM) Any age limit to enter as an audit associate level in big4? For eg: just accept 25 age below. No limit, but your academic must be good enough. They will ask you repeatedly during the call and final interview if you're ok working with much younger colleagues. So just try your best to convince them This post has been edited by artelle90: Aug 21 2019, 07:00 AM
