QUOTE(Maxine_92 @ May 27 2020, 03:48 PM) Yeah, I'm serious All partners partners/directors voluntarily cut their salaries so they can retain staff And no one is resigning (I was planning to lol) after peak season coz it's hard to get job post covid This post has been edited by artelle90: May 31 2020, 08:08 PM |

Frankly, it's quite a bad time for you guys to apply any Big4 right now with the current pandemic still ongoing. The financial performance plummeted really hard this year...like in my assurance department line only 3 people got promoted to senior. I feel bad for those associates Year 2 bcoz they've been working so freaking hard
But on the bright side, more opening for assurance job since many staff are going to tender resignation This post has been edited by artelle90: Dec 1 2020, 11:28 PM |

QUOTE(Fantastic1218 @ Dec 2 2020, 02:42 AM) I interviewed with E* last week for audit 6 month contract position. I wonder if they r not offering me full time position because I have no experience, although I applied for tax but they freeze the hiring. I wanna ask your advice, if I am rather an introvert, is audit a suitable career? I worked at **. Hmm..I am an extremely introvert guy and struggling with my stutter sometimes (even during the f2f interview And speaking of the 6 months contract position, we just had a townhall session recently and one of the questions raised was regarding the shortage of staff since many has resigned/tendered and the partner said the HR has been actively recruiting new staff. The firm's financial is recovering and I think if everything is going on the right direction for the next few months, most probably the contract one will be absorbed as permanent staff. But if the worse-case-scenario happens, at least your resume will look good tho and your future employability is higher. My uni friend has tried to apply at ** 3 times, but still got rejected last week. |
