QUOTE(timelime @ Jun 13 2018, 12:44 AM) Dear sifus: I'm new to forex, recently a close relative of mine introduces me to MIA https://www.mia491.com/# Their record showed 10% monthly gain, they hired James Harrison https://www.myfxbook.com/en/members/MIA491/...arrison/2267699 and trading via FintechFX https://fintechfx.com/ which regulated by Asic and NFA. Any sifus know anything about them? Please advice, thank you. QUOTE(duplicated @ Jun 14 2018, 08:38 AM) Likely a scam. Like Vladislav last time. They took off with investors money. Ya scam One. Only trade gold. That kind of track record is a holy grail and they don't need investors. Same as fx master under Trumpx. This MIA hides the trades and upon they finish to xxx, they credit you the trades. I know this is totally under manual adjustments. Why I know... Because I know la. |

QUOTE(evilspeculator @ Jun 21 2018, 04:43 PM) Not sure about your friend. I can see my MT4 the trade opened then position running until it is either closed in profit or loss. You try to copy out and see. Then u will know. At the time the trade appears, the trade has opened and going to close at profit.Haha i bluff also not gaining anything. You decide yourself. If you feel its risky then don't invest. If u got extra money then can try. U are not able to copy when it appears before price diff and in profit. |

QUOTE(arbysburger @ Jul 11 2018, 01:35 PM) Hi!.. joining this forum because of this discussion here... I recently been offered to join Mia by a friend too One word to describe, your friend is still not qualified to be detector and never knows how myfxbook works and functions. One of the previous post mentioned that James Harrison is adding his history manually but my friend counter-argued that according to this page (https://www.myfxbook.com/members/MIA491/james-harrison/2411336) , he has Track Record Verified & Trading Privileges Verified. Also, I'm interested to study about his past performance at Odin or any other related info. Please feel free to share. |

QUOTE(Harry1234 @ Jul 31 2018, 11:38 AM) Hello Everyone, I would like to discussed about Fintechfx broker and MIA topic. I have read a lot of people sharing their concern and screaming Fintechfx is a scam broker, and MIA is scam. My question is: This scam broker and company are these merely our opinions or proven fact? If it indeed a fact please share with me the story how you got scammed maybe we can learn a thing or two. Newbie registered the account today. Personally I did my own research before jumping to any conclusions, so what did I found? First, Fintechfx is indeed registered to ASIC (Australian regulator) And NFA (American regulator), therefore because the company is regulated then all the fund is in segregated account. Second, MIA is a very young investment company (less than 2 years) which was build because of James Harrison's trading skills. Will MIA exist if James Harrison quit trading? only time will tell. Third, in MIA491 the founder introduce himself as Anthonio Ferez and posted a few videos on Youtube and attended recognition nights and award nights. My opinion is: If Antonio is planning to run a scam company would he freely make himself known to public? This is some of the example of James Harrison trading, so we can rest assure the trading did take place. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhM_zQY6eJg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KWPrU6xhAA Back in high school I was taught the theory of Black Swan. In this theory I was taught there is no point to collect all white swans in this world to prove all swans are white, instead look for one black swan then we can prove not all swans are white. Instead of saying no trader can achieve 90% accuracy we should ask ourselves "how can we achieve 90% trading accuracy' Or has this been done before? I also attached all the file and screen shot of ASIC website company the license that Fintechfx, IC Markets and Pepperstone hold so we can rest assure that Fintechfx is a legitimate broker like the other two . Again if someone has been scammed by Fintechfx or MIA please do share their experience. Thank you. I shall let DrFX to explain.... So tired. |

QUOTE(Harry1234 @ Aug 1 2018, 11:24 AM) As a newbie. I would like to find out solid prove that MIA/FINTECHFX is scammer. So far I only found that Fintechfx has all the relevant licenses to operate as a broker. Of course not just screaming this broker is a scam or that broker is a scam without solid evidence. By all mean if I been scam then I would like to know coz it is still possible for me to pull out my money. Thank you. You can't know it is "scam" until they exit. From our past experiences and identified principals, we never failed to identify any "scam tactic" and they were gone within 1 year.... |

QUOTE(Wayne-Huai @ Aug 26 2018, 08:28 AM) I found UTS is the best platform to invest so far. I visited Sentratama broker in Indonesia, I met the Russian Fund Manager, we sign agreement in Singapore, we met Russian Fund manager in Singapore OCBC bank. Share with me too. INterestedIf you want to invest, please do some homework. Google it, or go to visit what you gonna invest. Use eyes to see better than use ear to listen. UTS willing to share everything with you, and they don't ask you to transfer any fund to their company, they will only ask you to funding to your own broker account, it's safe enough. UTS find a good Fund Manager, regulated broker, and let ppl invest. Of course they need to get some amount to pocket, everyone is profit in this cycle. Are you working without taking salary from your boss? lol! Do you think Fund Manager help you to trade for free? for sure must share the profit with him. Please don't invest to any platform where is shady, not transparent. Feel free to contact me if you want to know more about investment - (email: waynehcheah@gmail.com) Willing to meetup in Singapore. |

QUOTE(Wayne-Huai @ Aug 27 2018, 03:05 PM) Hi bro, thanks for your good questions. FM profit sharing is 55% which is too high la...You have to know, UTS is just a stand alone agent company, they only provide this investment service for investors, they only playing a role to bring investors come in to let fund manager to trade, by using certain broker, they have no right to publish any info of broker/fund manager on their website. Therefore, investors need to do their homework to check the broker's and fund manager's background. Investor's question: UTS only tell verbally, is that true? It could be fake? or scam? like money game. So, UTS able to make arrangement for investors to visit broker/fund manager, this is what money game outside cant do it. All your questions above, are not decided by UTS, but Fund manager/broker. 1) Minimum RM15k (USD3k), it seems so much for malaysian, because RM15k, but for fund manager it's only 3kUSD, 3%-8% is very less for him. 2) locking period (decided by broker): 6 months, only capital will be locked, this is to prevent money laundering, no matter which broker(regulated) out there, must have anti money laundering policy. If there is no money locking period, people will money-laundering by funding big amount and withraw frequently through this platform. 3) profit sharing(decided by fund manager): 45%(investor) 55%(FM), (3%-8% is the 45% profit sharing) No choice, the fund manager is famous, he wants to get more profit compare to other, UNLESS investor invest very large amount such as RM400k above, then profit sharing will be investor much higher profit than FM, (with a Contract between FM and investor, to secure investor). No one can do this out there. Commision fee(UTS): this is the only fee for UTS, no one will provide free service, right? you will not work for free for your boss, right? So, 8.5% of capital will be deducted (only 1 time, only new funding), other than that, no further fee. I think my answer could help you a lot. feel free to contact me. email: waynehcheah@gmail.com |

QUOTE(Wayne-Huai @ Aug 28 2018, 12:17 PM) Investment: as long as our capital is growing, low risk, safe... we do nothing, and FM is the one doing his job to grow our capital, why we want to kedekut to share profit with FM? Low risk and safe? If you dare to put these words in your agreement that "your capital is protected with full refund should there be any margin calls occurred in the account". Then I invest.you guys dont even have business mindset... pay 1 time 8.5%, then your account will grow with low risk and safe. if you dont want then keep money in bank lo, die in bank. kena charge 8.5% is too much, means you want people serve you well but no need to give service charge... weird la.. go to eat street food la if dont want to pay 10% service charge.. Even the previous fxgoldmaster (trade gold one)... GG after 2 years with huge loss making.... all investors cried and went home. |
