Hi guys, I just wondering if fire rated door is compulsory for high rise building. According to the building management, I can't simply replace my current main door to any types of door, but they said I need to replace exactly like current main door (my tenant broke my main door )
Now my problem is, I have been trying to order one unit but unfortunately not many suppliers are willing to take small order. Do you guys know / can recommend where can I order 1 unit of fire rated door? How much roughly is it? My condo is in Shah Alam.

ask your building mgmt. to provide you with the Fire rated specification?
maybe it is the uniformity that they seek.
walk up or down your condo...see if there is anyone that is NOT the same?..
I think they cannot do much to you if you wanted to change...say you renovate. how? cannot renovate meh?

if order 1 unit sure will be expensive. thousand ringgit of course

try to google oriental entity. there common supplier for fire rated door or ask management team who is supplier for their building..


if so much hassle,buy which one u like laa,u the owner..plus, the building already pass bomba inspection long time ago

Main door must be fire rated.
But I think the management want you to change back the same door is due too uniformity.
