ask your building mgmt. to provide you with the Fire rated specification?
maybe it is the uniformity that they seek.
walk up or down your condo...see if there is anyone that is NOT the same?..
I think they cannot do much to you if you wanted to change...say you renovate. how? cannot renovate meh?
