Basically, I have been talking to sihumchai and we are both very interested in making a "gaming site/blog/journal" that will bring the latest news in console gaming.

If you know joystiq.com, we are basically trying to achieve that. So, we are hoping to bring to you the latest news on all 3 consoles, news that are relevant to local gamers, and of course report on the events and happenings that the local shops and gamers organise.

You will think, why do we want to do it? As the local gaming community grows, I think it is time we have something on our own to put us on the map. This will start off as a voluntary project and trust me, its not going to be easy. So, we are looking for volunteers, people with a passion in gaming with skills in:

1. Design
2. Web programming
3. Writing

If you think you love gaming, you don't mind working for free (I'll belanja teh o ais limau once in a while), and you fit into our job scope above, post here or PM me. We are hoping to kick it off before CNY next year or even earlier if everyone put in lots of effort.

Oh, we also need a name. And suggestions so far has been:

We are trying to achieve that "gaming blog" status, with writers that are passionate about their console/handhelds.. You'll be free to express your own knowledge, and point of views in this "blog". Things like why the 360 only comes in white, and why PS3 has to be so shiny.. (just a joke )

Application for writers are many, but we'll need to know which camp you belong to, too!

u need to come out with a proper proposal. w/o this, the site wont survive.

For the moment, I will like to get a few names first, then present the proposal or idea to them.

Unfortunately, I will not be sharing that in front of everyone here. Only for the eyes of the team who has volunteered to do this together because I will need to know what they can or can't do.

Once we get a core group together, we will meet up, discuss things over and if you think its not a feasible idea, you can opt to leave. Its not a binding contract

Its ok if its not internationally recognised at first. What we want is local gaming news, a fully malaysian name would be ok. Then as the popularity grows, everybody in the world will know about it can can truelly identified it as a malaysian site.

Of course we know the content is the utmost importance, but the name needs to be something we can all identify with.

Zio, if you need so, i think i can try to be the level headed one and write for all three. Nobody's 100% not bias, even those who have all three is biased, biased towards his own opinion!

Whatever i can provide or write, it will be for the site first, Game-lah will get the exclusive. Im thinking of expanding on the Bluray observation post i did in the Playstation section, and make it into a fullblown article for that, plus a few more if you like, Zio. Just bouncing some ideas around.

I've have sorta completed my first article for my position at Game-lah. Bare-bones really, but i need someone to proofread the damn thing. The tone of the article is laidback and in-your-face, not formal, but since i get the impression that it is encouraged to write your own style, i decided to stick with the laidback thingy.

well... now msia sell de ps3 for 20gb and 60gb de price is not far... so 60gb would be my choice if i were u
