I am not rich bro. I just sold down my unit trusts in FSM and transferred the money here. 

Lesson learned.

Kimlun was downgraded by Kenanga from outperform to market perform today with a TP price of RM2.27. This was after the analyst(s) attended a briefing by Kimlun yesterday and noted the demand gap for manufacturing orders. Kimlun's FY17-18E earnings was reduced by 16.9%.

I am selling off Kimlun and jumping to a better horse, KESM.    Minor loss. Mosquito bite only.

P/S: Doesn't this constitute as insider trading? I assume the analysts just came out from the meeting yesterday and start calling all their clients to sell Kimlun? The company update on Kimlun only came out this morning. TNS.

Yes, possibly a trader. I am just trying out different styles of "investing". 

Tripled my investment in KESM today. Bought 2 batches for RM10.30 and RM10.340. KESM closed at RM10.80 (+7.78%). My unrealised gain is +5.478%. Please rise again next Monday KESM.

For unit trust investment,  I am the passenger. You can see the car/unit trust but you don't know exactly what is under the hood.

For stock investment, I am the driver. I decide where to go, ie what stocks to buy.

Too early to tell which return is better. But stock investment is definitely more time consuming and need more monitoring. Also more high risk! 😅

U talk like that is very dangerous, typical mentality of ppl who get swallowed in MLM schemes.

When u have more control, and u are DILIGENT i.e. put in due efforts, u can potentially earn more.
When u have more control, but you are lazy and/or screwed up big time, your losses can be colossus.

"Lazy" investors are better off paying someone to do it for u, hence the relevance of the unit trust/mutual funds industry.

Don't listen to those sore losers who did not experience it firsthand themselves and only spew cow dungs heard from apeks ahsohs from pasar pagi, there are people who have been consistently beating EPF rate of return with relatively minimal efforts using unit trust funds.

So for TA ANN,  when the ANALysts say HOLD, it actually mean SELL?  Then I die lor. Let me find a counter which can gain 6% within a short span of time and I will swap TA ANN with the new stock. I have to get info from the chartist first.

For the incorporation of China-based subsidiary to come so soon right after Jack Ma's announcement, TNam must be on front footing to take advantage of this opportunity.

I sold Ta Ann, Tenaga and Yinson just now. Cut loss for Ta Ann at -3.35%. No regrets. I have to jump to better race horses.

Added VIS, PPHB and EITA to my portfolio. Dunno yet whether it is for short term trading or long term investment. VIS is a bit suspect. Too many speculators jumping in or out.

I will either win big or lose big on VIS. Time shall tell. Will the 5 cents dividend be sufficient to cover my losses? 

My overall portfolio is still up today thanks to MPI which jumped 6.41%. The unrealised gain from MPI is currently at 21.05%. The share market is really irrational.

Not really. AirAsia, Nestle, Genting, HEIM and Oldtown were there from day one. Then I revamped my portfolio to include MPI, YeeLee, KESM etc.  Now 2nd time I revamped it.

I dunno exactly. I don't have a consolidated account for all my unrealized gain, realized gain and divided received.

Based solely on my Kentrade account for unrealized gain, the profit is about 7%. I started this portfolio in early February 2017.
