New Rig, Old Monitor

I am building a new rig soon, but I don't really have a budget for a new monitor. The old one I have is an old Lenovo L193 Wide which only have a VGA input that new graphic cards dont have. I plan on using a DVI to VGA adapter but will this have any image quality issues?
