Hi guys,

Just wondering, anybody had any issue with their dashboard gauges/meter not functioning?

My RPM meter, temperature and gear indicators seems not functioning at all.

better send your car to SC to rectify the problem.
could be as simple as blown fuse to worse maybe meter problem.

I have consult with SC before, one in Selayang. they said it is my ECU that giving the problem. as far as i know if it is my ECU, i would have face a lot of problems instead of only part of my dashboard. I opt out their suggestion and straight away call Proton branch SC in Setapak.

They said, there is one car, having similar proble, but yet, they can't determine what is the root cause. they said they have changed the entire dashboard meters, but the problem persists.

Just wondering, do we need to perform scheduled service for the air cond system? It's been 5 years already, and i never do anything to the system except for cleaning the filter and blower fins.

is it totally maintenance-free or do i need to change the oil, cleaning the condenser etc?

Thanks for the advice. Im not going for wider tyre size actually. My plan was to change to 15" rims
with the normal size tyre. Only thing to check if the rims is stable or not. Seen many rims broken before.
*
been using 15" rims with both 185/55 15 and 195/50 15.

i could say 185/55 more comfort, but u need to forget taking a sharp corner at high speed. 195/50 having better handling.

fuel consumption - 4 years using 15" rims, i don't see any obvious saving. changed my rims once in these 4 years due to Malaysian road. buy a good quality rims than the cheap rims available in most market.
