yellow light indicator = 8 litres left.
pump full to the brim when yellow light show up = 32 litres.

ooh, so for my car when yellow light show up, i can only pump 27 litres which mean full tank is 27+8= 35 litres
my indicator is off 5 litres sweat.gif

how much will it cost me if i want to replace the fuel indicator part?

calculation salah. by right when fuel indicator litres, should pump 32 litres.
your fuel indicator tak rosaked. it's normal for our saga as explained below.
either below is the situation, or maybe you usually not pump fuel fuel to the brim. peace.
first pump until auto stop. after the auto stop, you can manually pump another 2 litres.

icic, now only i know got such things....

then i slowly increase my distance 10km each time before i pump petrol, see how far i can really go

no need to do like that. just learn to calculate your FC.
my FC = 9km/L in town. so after actual fuel indicator blinking at 32L, i can extend about 3L (until 35L max) about 3L x 9km/L = 27km. i can but i wouldn't do that. the lowest indicator i pump is when the fuel indicator lit up. not lower than that.
btw, remind you that IF you always pump when fuel tank is nearly empty, you are risking your fuel pump rosaked ealier than you expected.

when i pump tank full, 32L * 9km/L = 270km. so i should expect the yellow indicator lit up when mileage reaching 270km. if not, i assume the fuel indicator playing gag on me  whistling.gif

my fuel indicator play gag usually at my house area because i am staying at hill side. the indicator will drop 1 bar when downhill, and rise up 1 bar if going uphill.  brows.gif  to correct again, when going downhill, should go uphill again or vice versa.

ur FC should be : 370km / 27L = 13.70km/L

so if actual yellow light indicator : 32L x 13.70km/L = 438.4km

remind you that FC is diff when 100% town driving. mixed town/highway driving, and 100% highway driving. fyi, my 100% highways driving is roughly 13.5km/L compare to 9km/L 100% town driving

my round trip to work is 60km. Based on that calculation i can try drive another round trip make it 440km for 32L of petrol
give me one day extra no need to petrol station... lazy

My last petrol pump is 27L for 370km

Now I drive till 390km, still thinking want to drive more to test the limit

My iswara can pump close to 40L when light is on, this saga with same 40L tank is really lousy

i go work early or late and back late to avoid rush hours, so less time on traffic jam for me. If go during rush hour, my fuel consumption probably will increase more than 10%
