My bench press is the weakest of all 3 lifts and it tends to fail in the middle portion of the lift.
I have no problem lifting it off my chest or locking it out. But if it fails, it fails in the middle ROM.

So guys, any assistance exercise(s) that I can do as a recommendation?

Thanks in advance! wink.gif

Probably just weak chest. Work on building more chest muscles will do. If so, try adding some chest fly.

But most of the time, many people are just weaker at whole bench press. I wouldn't even worry about any specific weakness yet without knowing your current lift. Might be your programming, might be your diet, might be other thing.

I go all the way down when and pause for 1 second (following the IPF rules). What I mean is how do I increase my benching weight when I hit a plateau and I'm stuck at the middle ROM when going up smile.gif?
