Daikin outdoor yes can be a bit noisy (quite subjective depends on person). But it's performance is top, based on spec. I heard the service is also quite good. You can try asked the installer to install the outdoor a bit far from window to reduce noise coming into your house.

Compressor at above the roof ..should be ok..just the price is much higher comparing to hisense pensonic and daewoo

Hisense performance is quite good also. I have experienced using it. Im not sure how is the after sales service tho. But quite ok for it price.

Pensonic is Msia brand but i think the parts are from China. My relative using it. After 1 year it starts to have issues. And the wear and tear seems very fast.

How is hisense? Cos they ads so much...not sure is it good

Japanese brand not all from China. Their compressor and electronics mainly from Japan. And some of the japanese electronic part even manufactured here in Msia. And in AC the compressor and electronics are the major component.

Same goes like Toyota and Honda...do you think their engine manufactured in China? I don't think so. Because if their engine manufactured in China habis all technology kena copied.
