Ya - sometime back still have quite a number of sets. Not sure why the surge in "demand".

Only thing hot today was probably Wall-E. Saw many people collecting their sets. Also heard people calling up to enquire. Probably shortage as well as I overheard a conversation where someone ordered 2 sets but was told can only be given 1 set. They will have to wait for next batch if they want another set.

Lucky I didn't watch the show thus I'm immune. Watching TFA also makes me want to get a Sphero BB-8. My son's seen the commercial and seems to like it ...

What time were you there? If not can sembang awhile!

You won't be able to find UCS Falcon on shelves now. Maybe at Impulse earlier this year.

Didn't see what on the box? The words "Ultimate Collector's Series"? Confirm its not UCS as the last UCS Falcon was released in 2007 or 2008. There are rumors of a new UCS Falcon. Like how the X-Wing was re-released a few years back. Maybe it's time to get one if it is really released!

There may be a new Falcon released with Episode 8 but timeline seems short for LEGO to retire 75105 so quickly. But if they can throw in new figures and release it with a new set and new packaging - why not?

You're right about Poe's X-Wing. Didn't see a single set at LCS Curve yesterday. Guess the movie did play a part and helped sales of the LEGO sets.

I don't know which branch you went to, but Curve seems to be allocating only 1 stock per person for those with multiples of the same set. Example the Wall-E stock that came in yesterday/over the weekend. Overheard a call where someone asked about it, and saw the staff checking their book - think the person ordered 2 and staff said they will only get 1. If want another, have to add their name to the bottom of the list.

So I guess it's kinda fair.

New rumored sets for Star Wars

No one every complained ever having too much money. I'm just worried - with Disney's deep pockets now, maybe Disney-licensed stuff won't be as rare and price won't go up as much in terms of investment value?

I'm not a marketing person. Any thoughts?

On the topic of SW, already watched TFA twice, who thinks John Boyega (Finn) and Oscar Isaac (Poe) can make a good buddy cop movie action/comedy like Rush Hour-type?

D-Box is motion enabled seats. The seats will be moving based on the movie scenes.

Best parts are the Millenium Falcon and X-Wing/Tie Fighter scenes. Like a mild roller coaster ride.

Also, when the Force is being used, the seat vibrates 😝
