Wow, I like the way you modified that gasoline station into something you find in the real world... Very nice! rclxms.gif

Was going home and passed by shell station so just bought my casing. This was along the highway so there's no car or people queuing. Shell along the cheras-federal highway (was it called east west link?)

Ah, so you also went to that Shell station where I bought the two yellow cars last Sunday - and it's along the East West Link! rclxms.gif

#nonlegorelated: SG shell have that now, not sure same models or not and die cast.. look forward seeing it here in malaysia again..

Hahaha, if those models make a comeback, I can bet that even on Sunday, many outlets will have sold the week's item out! laugh.gif

Any Johoreans heading to SG to get those cars, by the way? Especially the really die-hard Ferrari collectors! tongue.gif

Wow the sg set looks really good! Hopefully it will be released soon here in Malaysia!

Hahaha, the moment those non-Lego cars are released here, then BOOM! - sold out on the first day! laugh.gif

And looks like our friend edan1979 has gotten the last two, a fortnight in advance, whilst we have to wait until Sunday... You're the champion! rclxms.gif

Feel like I've neglected LEGO for awhile by buying other stuff. My latest haul 😝

On the subject of SHELL, anyone has an extra one of this. The only one missing in my collection. Please PM to discuss.

Bro, I have that but too bad it has been completely broken apart and remodeled into something else - courtesy of my elder son, who's 3 years old and loves the small Lego blocks, in addition to his favorite Duplo! laugh.gif

Seeing a repeat of the insanity caused by McDonald's Hello Kitty promotion eh? But minus the near-stampede and broken-glass-door incidents at some outlets! laugh.gif

And speaking of the Shell Lego, it's already Wednesday and for the first time in forever, my Exora still has more than half a tank of gasoline at the mid-point of the week. Which means if this continues, I can likely only fill up around $40 to $80 worth of gas on Sunday! hmm.gif

I plan to buy next model on this sunday. Where it is?

Might as well try that Shell station along the East-West Link (AKA Salak Expressway) in Cheras, if you're in the area? It's where I usually go for gasoline on Sundays and thus far, I've always been able to purchase those Lego models (including two of the latest yellow Ferrari) whenever I'm there! rclxms.gif

If you can't get the tanker, it's because of people like this

$45 for one piece? What a scalper! shakehead.gif

No wonder I couldn't find any Shell station (I went to three of them) selling that tanker, even during the morning of December 13! sad.gif

Wow, today's the first time I really went on a wild goose chase just to find that Lego Tanker truck, including driving all the way to Klang for Bah Kut Teh and stopping at SIX Shell stations to inquire about availability (including two in Port Klang) - none of which had stock, unbelievable! ohmy.gif

I was already going to give up but my wife (who works in KL) told me to try my luck at the Maharajalela station, as she said her colleague bought two earlier today - and she also purchased one from him for $18.00, thankfully. So off I went, from Klang to KL while getting caught in the bad traffic along Maharajalela and bad news, no stock there too! doh.gif

Out of the blue, after I had my lunch, I then decided to head back to my regular Shell station along the East-West Link in Cheras to try my luck and surprisingly, they had a sufficient number of trucks available. But the catch was this - I had to buy one of the three types of Helix engine oil and I decided to get the entry-level one (should be suitable for the Exora - due for yet another engine oil change anytime now), which means I finally managed to purchase the truck for $9.90! notworthy.gif

And it's also finally completed for display in my condo, with all the other Shell Lego models! rclxms.gif thumbup.gif

Wah. So many baby milk powder tins 😝 You buy Engagrow too?

Speaking of this craze. Apparently in Australia. People (Chinese from China, ahem) sapu baby milk powder and goreng price also! Think they said each tin can goreng 4x original price!
*
Hey bro, it's actually Anmum milk and there are so many tins because I have two growing kids, haha! laugh.gif

And yeah, finally we have the whole collection and can just stop this Lego Shell madness for now!

My already-completed collection (the Wirtgen cold milling machine at the back is not a Lego item, btw! tongue.gif )... No need to go crazy looking for Shell Lego Tankers and all, anymore! laugh.gif
