It depends. If you are earning RM3K and below, mostly won't call. But if you are earning RM3k and above, they will call to verify your salary and performance.

You got something to hide?
*
Just curious.
The only thing I am going to hide is bad relation with my boss and which affect my performance review. (First job, only sign what the boss is given and found out was not the common practice) sad.gif

But ald tell the HR main reason for my bad performance review, different ideology, whether get a job doesn't matter me since I am going to fire my current boss when finish the current project.

To all sifu sifu,

I am looking for some advise on transportation back to Malaysia. Preferably a bus to KL area. I always use FirstCoach but it was for holiday. Now that I am working here, I notice that its impossible to book a ticket especially for Friday after work and Sunday evening.

Can someone please advise me?

Thank you !
*
Work with those parents who have their children who studies in Sg.
So far tumpang those aunties to buy always guarantee me a ticket.

Aeroline or Five Star is your another choice.
Another one will be Nice Executive Coach. But all these are more expensive than First Coach. Another way is to take train. Sleep in train the whole nighy and u reach KL in the morning.

Go out from the exit from Burger King to the loading bay. The bus counter that you need to exchange your ticket is just above burger king. If really can't find can talk to the uncle also wink.gif
You can always apply more jobs then if get more than one only you select among different jobs.

Btw 2 days really kinda short la... Normal interview simply also 1~2 weeks d. Up to 1 month also possible.

Haha, I am too eager to come here. But thanks for assurance.

Hi,

Just asking, how long will be a good time for us to ask HR whether they are still interested to hired us? Since I have a bad time in current company, and do not want my immediate resignation looks bad when HR is doing background check.

Why so eager? If confirm already apply EP nothing much to worry I think. You can ask, just saying you're still waiting for her reply. But I don't think is much of a problem as you'll need time for the EP to process too.
I don't think so...

I signed after they apply EP for me. But that time just right before the new EP law enforce. Not sure now.
*
Haha, I asked ald. And they have sent me the offer letter/contract to sign.
Because I have few days to start working after the EP pass to reply.

Yup, they can apply the EP pass first before they sent the offer letter/contract to sign.

Can I ask anything that we need to do before we officially moved to Sg to work? Any gov department that I need to report to?

If I have worked in Malaysia for this year, do I need to submit the income tax or my Malaysia company will take care of it?

And when we start to work in Sg, what we need to do for the Malaysian tax? Since I do intend to purchase house for my parents in the next year

Degree holder from M'sia should be getting EP straight away. No?

*

Hi guys, any advise where to rent a stay? my company is in pasir panjang. Manage to get a job after 2nd interview ytd. I am coming to contribute to sg custom jam starting next year loh!
*
Well, you can use the first page in the house hunting.
If you staying in Pasir Panjang, see whether ur company is close to mrt. If it is, just find house close to yellow line. I used EasyRoommates to search my house and immediately paid for it.

after December is a good time already, cause many people will cabut after getting AWS.
get a local number and add it to your resume..
some employer will hesitate to call foreign number as the candidate may not readily be available for interview.
*
What is AWS?

Guys, I plan going to singapore for job hunting next year after cny. Is it a good timing? Next year will be a degree holder with Information System. Worries about cannot find jobs at singapore.
*
Well, many also told me that I am fresh graduate. With less than a year working experience, it is unlikely for me to get a job.
I have proven otherwise, manage to get a job here. Just dont disheartened if you never get reply as soon as u expected.

I worry about those company keep doing something common, cannot learn anything from there.
*
Well, when I tell my senior when I am start working in my Malaysia firm. He telling me how great to be in here my Malaysia company, there are a lots of things to learn. And along the three months, nothing much I have learnt which can make me very excited abt the job. Telling me how his friends sucks over in Sg doing something boring.

Now, my first week in Sg, my team is totally new, I get to do a lots of things that I was not allowed in my previous firm despite I am a freshman.

If you feel the company does not let you learn, try few months, and you can quit and try to search for new one. Or just wait for two years, get PR, and search job from there.
