Hi, I was just wondering that is it possible for a marketing Degree fresh graduate to have 3k SGD pay? If so what type of jobs which offers this kind of pay? I'm planning to work in SG soon and i heard that many companies will not give high salary for fresh graduates.
*
It always depend what the normal range of paid is your field is.
My friend who are Sg mostly get a job that range from 3k above when graduated. Me too but with six months work experiment (is fresh anywhere).

If you get a MNC, don't worry about the pay, they will usually adjust accordingly. If it is local firm, I am not sure thou.

Yes, it's a MNC. I will try.
Sigh, if it's my current company, we will cover 1 month temporary accommodation in a hotel, 3 months of salary for relocation and shipment from current country to new country.

This MNC is not a market player and they have been negotiating hard of my expected salary, I doubt they will give me anything. sweat.gif Worse comes to worst, they may pull out and don't offer me a job. laugh.gif

Luckily I still have a comfortable job in KL, still can survive if that doesn't work well.

*Fingers crossed*
*
You guys are lucky. I am fresh graduate, nothing is being offered.

Maybe next time after earning some and would like to move out, then will be a better room. laugh.gif

But I thought the company will pay for your hotel stay for the first month?

hmm... did they drop price? hmm...

but pickup place as convenient as firstcoach?
*
In Sg, not so. Since no MRT around, now they are located in Balestiar Plaza.
For KL, their drop off place is in Mt. Kiara. Quite okay for me but depend where u live.

Wanted to live closer to Malaysia first as my family is still nearby and get more working experience first. After I climb higher in career then maybe I'm bringing my parents over to Australia if possible, currently still don't have the capability yet haha.

Holiday/work visa last for only about half year so not really suitable for my case.
*
Not sure whether you can get your parents there, or they are only allowed to stay there for some period only.
Australia is suitable if you go there early. See my friend, the father cannot stand, every month fly back to Malaysia.

This you have to find out from your insurance company la. Great Eastern can claim but you have to pay upfront on your own first. I think most insurance company works the same. Worst case scenario if you got into accident, you die die take a cab over to jb hospital then you don't have to pay upfront lo..
*
As person who work in the industry, please read the terms and check with the company. Agents are selling you product and Malaysia agent don't really need them to take much exam to sell products so they can say yes to anything to get you to buy. Working on too many complaints and all customers say agent say can. Company will not honour it if the policy illustration stated black and white there.

Do read back the policy statement and check whether they did really mention they will cover if your accident is happened in overseas and not as a tourist.
If they never mention, the insurance company will not pay out. And from my knowledge, I don't remember any health plan that Malaysia insurance that allow you to claim in Sg hospital or clinics vs Sg one did mention you can claim if you get your treatment in JB. Unless they launch a new product.

For health insurance, unless you know you got some problems, and impossible for you to get a normal premium in other insurance company, it is better to just cancel and get a Sg if you are planning to live long in Sg. Since unlike other insurance plan, the premium will be review every few years to reflect with the current economic situation.

As a person who pay and don't work in the industry, I trusted my agent, who is my family member. So don't patronize people but instead, kindly let people know that it doesn't work that way.

Anyway, I am planning to cancel mine as I'm already a pr. Male`aysia's insurance is just bunches of bullshit with so much hidden tricks and terms & conditions, it's just tiring.
*
Even is family members, you still have to look at the documents contract. Is not patronize but careful with what you spending on.
Sometimes, there are additional charges in the plan but agent will not mention it to attract ppl to buy.

To make things simple , always prepare plans (get friend or relatives to know about this) , if anything serious happen in SG , admit d further treatment transfer to MY.

Arrangements can be made , in such cases usually will need to pay initial Hospitalization fee in SG and Ambulance transfer (if serious) .

Rest of medical to be done in Malaysia , then claim MY insurance .
*
But also need to make sure you did speak to ur insurance company whether they do cover for the hospitalization if your injury is happened outside Malaysia and your status in the foreign country is not a tourist.

If the insurance company find out and it is stated in the policy, the insurance company can turn down ur claims. Especially for large claims, lot of investigation will be done to ensure the payment is correct.

And if the insurance company do not provide coverage, you can just basically to stop the Malaysia one and go for Sg instead. And further treatment if really serious, can just go Mal gov hospital

More curious, which country is? Deflation is not easy to happen in these few years but inflation is.

Just look at Malaysia, not deflation but inflation only.
