hi guys, got question here regarding malaysia postpaid plan,

now i work in singapore and i still retain my postpaid plan for malaysia line,
thinking of changing it to prepaid or cheaper postpaid.
1. if change to prepaid plan, i still have to topup to keep the sim active (RM30 for 30days)
2. if change to postpaid i also need to pay monthly.

any idea? how u guys maintain the malaysia line?
*
I'm also previous DiGi postpaid user, switched to XOX prepaid since they providing 28 months validity so i no need to keep topup laugh.gif

Hey guys,
Im in the process of changing job.
After i pass my employment card to current employer, current employer will issue a short term visit pass to me.

I plan to go Johor on the next day, and come back Sg two days later, do i need to fill up the white card even when i have this short term visit pass?
*
Yes, you'll need to give the short term visit pass to the immigration officer when exiting Singapore...it's like giving back the white card
So when u wanna enter back Sg, you'll need to fill in the white card again...

Senior senior sekalian, I'm going to start working in sg for some lab assistant job on 1st of April...

i try to find and rent a room in SG but the agent told me that there is a new rule since March that now you need to provide your tenant permit which comes together with your work permit to rent a room or else cannot help me @@

(My company hasnt get me my work permit yet their tradition is usually you go there do medical check up on first day, training for the following days and will get permit done by the second week)

Any options suggestions for me beside staying temporary in JB? Go back and forth very tiring leh sigh
*
i thought you just need to show IPA then can rent room already??
You'll get the IPA before proceeding to do medical check-up...

IPA is in principle approval? Is it like a form letter to get from employer company or something? Thanks
*
Yes...usually your HR will forward you the pdf file of your IPA to inform you that your work pass application is approved.
Once you got your IPA, you'll then proceed to do medical check-up and other processes then you'll get your work pass...

With this, you should be able to rent a room in SG...

treat it as your "temporary" work pass biggrin.gif

Thanks,

I'll admit that i have never taken an express bus in my entire life  doh.gif  - is it safe and how is the experience>

any other alternatives? train?
*
haha bus is fine...the only not so good experience part is when crossing the border...
at malaysia custom, you'll need to take all your belongings down from the bus and after the immigration, put everything back on the bus...

There's no direct train to anywhere yet from SG other than for crossing the causeway....

Hey guys, quick one.

Is it advisable to tender resignation after accepting a job offer but before getting the EP approved?
*
It's always safer/recommended to wait for your new EP application to be approved before tendering...
but in the end, it's up to u rolleyes.gif
