I haven't received my work permit card yet, takes a few days right? Went for the thumbprint thing yesterday.

Can I apply for a mobile phone and my internet connection yet? Using the maxis roaming deal is both expensive and limited.

What docs does Singtel need during application?

2.5 hours in total. I guess if start work at 8.30am then will be worse traffic? And have to suffer the jam with vehicles exhaust fumes compare to those crossing in cars with aircon.

ya, actually i do have a colleague crossing everyday by KTM. Can get more info from him.
Also some do car pooling, share taxi service to cross, etc.
Regardless i am educated white collar worker, i think some ppl will just do their calculations and will make their decision whether to cross everyday or just spend a bit more to stay in singapore to have more life.
Some ppl might have the question as me and i hope i did a favor for them by asking this.
Not that i am going to move to jb soon, but in near future maybe i will consider. Just wanted to know the options.
