I presume if it's REALLY Jubeat and not that China clone, then there's no e-amusement pass support on those machines?

I would assume not, but then I didn't bother taking notes about everything else aside from the decals. Didn't even play it or look at the screen for too long because someone else was playing.

But China clone is not called Jubeat, right? Usually call Magic Cube?

yeap, its been a there around 2 wks or close to 2wks.

Yes, it's been there for about 2-3 weeks...it's about RM2.50 per game (exp. as they have SEGA ALL.net support - means it's online).

OK, i go play already.

Game pricing quite OK considering now can battle online. Hope more game title with online capabilities in the future.

Now waiting for DJ Max Technika to be in other place than Genting.

Ok, I was in IOI Mall again, finally took a risk and grabbed these photos. I set my phone into video record mode (so no flash and noise) and then manually grabbed stills from the resulting video.

Tell me if this is real Jubeat or Magic Cube disguised as Jubeat.





I also play one game. Two times Ken Hirai - Pop Star and then one time High And Mighty Color - Hot Limit

And as expected, no e Amusement connection. Notice behind the machine has LAN cable unplugged and tied up. And no card reader either.

Also, machine show warning say it's only for use within China. And all instruction is in Chinese.

oh my... it does look like original Jubeat Asia version.

I'm in Penang now, so i'm giving some update.

- Megamall Penang TKA got Outrun 2 SP SDX and SSFIV.
- Prangin Cosmic got KOF XIII and Rockband.

Woah seriously? KOF and Rockband?

about the Rockband:
- it's basically Xbox360 inside self-made arcade cabinet. if you've seen before tekken 6 or ssf4 that show "CREDIT:00" when you press start, that's the same thing.
- 1 token (50 cent) for 10 minutes.
- got 2 titles : Greenday and The Beatles

Also, most of the machine inside the shop (Cosmic) is self-made. they even made their own outrun 2 SP.

I've seen such machines in KL before. Very widespread for DDR before official DDR machines came in.
