hi friends,

i still cant differentiate the role of moderator and mediator.

As far as i could remember,

(I) one is like a TOLL where it will directly affect the DV

(II) one is like REST & RELAX area where it might or it might not affect the DV.

please help me to clarify it

thanks

Full mediating effect is where the mediator is needed to link the relationship between independent variable and dependent variable.

As for moderating effect, it can increase or decrease the effects of independent variable on dependent variable.

For moderating effect, MOD happens together with IV and DV

For moderating effect... IV must influence MED first, then only influence DV

Hi friend,

Thanks for your help.

i wanted to know, based on the picture i attached, which is correct drawing of a framework. 1 or 2. or both wrong?

1. i wanted to know whether A is hving r/s with C
2. i wanted to know whether A is having r/s with C moderated by D

is this correct way of using the moderator?

badly need ur advise.

Both are wrong... Just draw the arrow from A to C, then D point in the middle of the arrow from A to C.. Since B is irrelavant in the model why bother to include

hi bro,

thanks for the feedback

actually b is relevant.

just i wana to take 1 example oni

here is what i planned to do:

1. do a has r/s with c
2. do b has r/s with c

3. do a has r/s with d
4. do b has r/s with d

5. do d moderates the r/s between a and c
6. do d moderates the r/s between b and c

is this right?

if yes, which model is appropriate? 1 or 2?
