same issue...Bandar Setia Alam needs more jobs !! more offices / factories / education hub etc...

keep on building apartments does NOT make sense...i really wonder who is the master planner for bandar setia alam...

just look at the empty shop houses and apartments at Jati Baiduri...

Not enough jobs in SA....i remember those who bought Battersea London project got one trefoil unit free. Why? Because cannot sell the Trefoil units...

obviously you are not vested in north Setia Alam. pay interest to the bank every month but no tenant is extremely painful.

i presume you are from EcoWorld. i asked when will the business / commercial hub be ready ? no answer from your sales people. maybe you can advice?

sell more houses but no business / factory in Setia Alam.... then only more traffic jam at NKVE ....

Your purpose is to make profit when you sell EcoWorld properties.

My complain is that the development needs to be integrated with jobs and facilities. There is a lack of job now which hopefully 1n1h will provide. Facilities wise, Setia City Mall is sufficient.

Whether i have holding power or not is NONE of your business. it just shows that EcoWorld / SP Setia is not fully responsible as a developer.

Go to north Setia Alam and look by yourself. Build so many thousand units of apartments, hundreds of shops - all empty.

When your Tan Sri Liew (wearing the old hat of SP) was promoting the Setia Commercial Centre 5 years, full of office blocks. Now, only 2 - top glove and SP.

Its easy for you to tai-chi to and push the blame on the individual buyer got no holding power, but you are saying that the developer has no responsibility ?

Oh, sorry, you only make comm when you sell... so who cares... is that your attitude ?

My unhappiness lies with the way the overall project was developed - nothing to do with desperation or homework. Stick to the topic.

What is the point of building medium low cost when nobody occupies it ?

i think that they over-focused on apartments, and did not focus enough on the commercial side. Need to bring in more Corporate HQ and industries.

STICK to the POINT.

Setia Alam needs more businesses / corporate HQ / factories. At present, there is a surplus of apartments.

Please do NOT relate it to my own situation which you know nothing about.

you obviously have an agenda....i've stated that lets discuss about the overall development, and nothing about me. Your first sentence starts with 'I think you still".

I reiterate: the development of the apartment should be concurrent with the industrial and commercial side. A profit maximising company will throw that to the wind and let the investors / owners suffer as in the case of Bandar Setia Alam now.

i used to hand out in Bukit Beruntung and Lembah Beringin...many in their 60s and 70s still remember being lead to buy there....fantastic damage to thousands and thousands of personal balance sheet....remember the KLIA was supposed to be in the north...

thankfully SA is much much better than BB and LB however there are lessons to be learnt.

throw away comments like "are u lack in holding power" is idiotic when you put the same comments to those who bought in BB and LB. compound interest is working hard.

i brought up Lembah Beringin and Bukit Beruntung because representation was made that KLIA was to be built in the north. It did not happen.

Similarly, Bandar Setia Alam had made representation on the commercial development. Its a lot slower than expected.

Putting no responsibility on the developer shows that you are probably on the side of the developer. Are you full time or part-time staff ?

There needs to be a certain balance between relying on your own homework and on the developer. Your bias is to push all to the individual which i think is wrong. That is the crux of the issue.
