*
Ikhwan got no TPs but dual cards still have, so in some sense we still need to keep.

Ikhwan got TP, but not available on Friday and Saturday only
*
Is it? But it never mentioned on the T&C, maybe never check properly.
Even if so, AMEX still giving 5X, which is the reason I'm still keeping it. Maybe can cancel the other mstercard hmm.gif

Which MasterCard you intend to cancel?
If it is together with your M2Cards, you know it very well, you can't cancel it unless you cancel with AmEx. wink.gif
*
Yup, that's the card that i intended to cut, but the fficer said cannot doh.gif
So still have to keep them since I still got 5% of dining cash back.

Of course you cannot. If can, everyone would have cancelled it long time ago even before the revision. doh.gif

There's another way, own self cancel and throw it to rubbish bin laugh.gif

Well, the chip will be in recycle material box that will cut in to 4pc, magnetic strip will be torch it and soak with oil before enter rubbish bin. As for the numbers, a Dremel tool should do the trick icon_rolleyes.gif

yup I'm a muslim.

How the umrah benefit works?

between 5% cb or 5x TP better?
*
Spending to get a chance to "strike" lucky are another form of gambling.
But just that it being twisted or being legalized.

"legalized" gambling

not sure the umrah mabrur or not
but its hard to spend rm1000 for petrol and groceries
*
Well, is up to us how to judge it. Even in Middle East they are using "lucky draw" to attract people. My friend was lucky to get the grand price of Audi A7.
No need to force your self on this card, since it has no AF.
You only need to push to your limits if that cashback card comes with T&Cs and AF, like HLB's STUPID card. Now I'm hoping they revise the benefits so that i can just cut the card.

yesterday i swap my Amex ikhwan to Shell petrol pum.
got notification RM250 was used.

it is normal since my mastercard ikhwan will cut RM200 for petrol pum payment??.
*
Petrol pump terminal is charging rm200/250 as default authorization value. This is the main difference between this and normal credit card terminal.

*
Yes, technically, but keeping extra cards, extra risk if you lost your wallet.

The chinese medicine shop also same la, simply increase the price then said because of the high exchange rateĀ  sad.gif
*
I already said is the chinese medicine shops. Also you can't swipe card, so better go 99 near my house, like they said : dekat lagi murah.
Just too bad certain items(like milo) they never do offer. And even if they do offer also, you won't know until you are there sweat.gif

thumbup.gif is there a thread discussing about the cheap stuff or promotion at 99?
*
For me, is good to share which shop are doing promotions, so we can stretch more on our cash back cards thumbup.gif
Should start such thread, bring more value for current difficult times.

guys, this card can over limit or not?or cant go thru once max the limit..

if yes, any charges or not?

i think, already over limit my card
*
Better call CS and ask properly, if you intended to max out the spending just for once, can ask for temporary increase of CL, but if you always swipe out to the max, better ask for permanent increase.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 22 2016, 11:41 PM)
Usually can exceed a bit. Your next transaction shouldn't go through anymore.
No charges, I only exceeded once and didn't get charged.
That was my M2Cards Plat but I assume it's the same.
*
rm0.10 is a bit also, I think such statement of "a bit" are quite misleading.

not misleading, that is based on fruitie experience as she mentioned
*
QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 23 2016, 10:12 AM)
Exceeded by RM 200.
*
A lot of people always use "a bit", proper way is using %. If a particular bank allows card holder to over spend 5%, it will be depending to the card holder's CL. Like my CL now is rm20000(which they increase it without my knowledge), I can overspend by rm1000, so rm200 I can just simply says "a bit" But another person that having low credit limit, it may go beyond this threshold limit and get penalty.
