Can sign up on weekends but will not get cards on weekends, you have to come back later during weekdays to collect it.

Wait till you have those first. Preferable latest 3 months.
In addition, Maybank Ikhwan MasterCard is one of the toughest cards to get let alone you don't have sufficient documents.

if apply in 1U, the staff always say latest 3 months payslip and EPF statement, even the form state either 1 month, they unable to proceed with 1 month, no idea why

I always give 3 months even if they ask for 1 month.

the more supporting income docs you provide, the more confidence the approval officer understand your income stability.

i usually give payslips, epf statement, and even income tax BE form(summary slip).

i want them to WANT me as their customer

Me not so hardcore, just 3 months payslip and latest EPF statement.

interesting, no idea, for Maybank appeal recently, they request BE summary slip as well

My appeal they just asked for payslips but I still sent them my EPF statement.

Copy of Degree Certificate/Professional Qualification
Employment letter OR 3 month salary slip

If it is declined, you can only apply 6 months later...

why not you keep retrying? who knows you can get leh?

if you got rejected 1st time, then able to get the card on 2nd time for <6 months period, then good news for you lo.

anyone knows how to enquire the status of application? i tried calling the credit card hotline number and i selected enquire application status...but at one point asked me to key in something like card number or account number then pin...but the problem is how i gonna have my card since it's a new application? :S
