Sifus,
I'm faced with the dust-on-sensor problem.. I'm using a 400D, and yes as some said before, the dust-cleaning function does not really work like a wonder.. Here's the attached image which I shot purposely to check on dust specks... sad.gif

Hope someone can help to explain what to do, step-by-step, because I'm afraid I might destroy my unit by doing a self-experimentied cleaning. Is the use of a blower sufficient enough to solve this issue? Appreciate some advise sad.gif

It was done FOC, but I had to wait 10 blardy days to have it back..

Although it was not 100% clean, I'm quite contented lah.. Looks like gotta learn wet cleaning for 400D from sifus around soon.. laugh.gif

10 days !!!!! wtf ?!?!? they send it to japan for cleaning ahh ??
worst...after 10days come back still have some dust!!

sell it and buy nikon.
FOC for life, clean less than 10 minutes.
Not happy with their cleaning, ask them to clean again on the spot.
Still not happy ask them to clean until you are satisfied.
That's why Nikon no need self cleaning sensor kind of crap function in their camera.  tongue.gif
