yeah. . . guys dig chicks that are into good music. . .

can't fine decent ones anymore. . . the best i got was my ex who was into Dream Theater and stuff and she played Piano. . .

i believe most of the guys here would want their girl to be able to play good music on any given instrument =D

i haven't started teaching songs yet cos they still don't know chords. I would have to ask them which artist do they admire or what kind of songs do they want to play. Something like that i think. Do you have any suggestion? smile.gif

There was a thread somewhere about chordal stuff.

But maybe this might help

My first song I learned on acoustic..... Unchained Melody. 4 Chords.
G C D and E....

I think you should first start of with the basic chord patterns.....
Teach them ABCDEFG...

if they are a complete beginner...
i start with chromatics, without a metronome at first, to build up their finger strength.

Also, have some payoff at the end.
Teach them something they want to learn.....
Like, teach them power chords, which builds up to Smoke In The Water....

Or if they're into metal, can teach them Sabbath's Iron Man.... Also damn easy to play.
