im sounding like a broken record now haha
pls just open https://tm.com.my/#/explore and tell me what you see,

internet is 199-20, not 179-20
show me where to find that 149  biggrin.gif
*
Normal price is rm199 which is internet rm169+ hypptv rm30, with promo price rm179 which is internet rm149 (rm169 - rm20) + hypptv rm30. This is how tm break down d amount in the bill.

wah, like that also, can? just submit complaint to MCMC online to start the procedure?
*
most of us early adopter already got the rm20 discount by complain to mcmc. i think most of the tmpoint already know about this, you can direct go to tmpoint to request for the rm20 discount. you can also submit your complain to mcmc as a backup in-case tmpoint reject your request.

dunno if this has been reported...
unifi 30 users... if u suddenly see in yr bill a new charge "voice discount" of rm41.60, u must go to tm point and get them to sort it out.

i had that in my dec bill. called unifi 3 times, finally lodge a report but no response after 3 wks.

desperate, i went to the dealer who signed me up.

a day later, dealer came back to say they had to go to TM Unifi physically to check; many users got that crap; some system error; promised to credit (i paid already) and no more this charge in next bill.

i hope all is sorted out.

calling UNIFI is a bitch, if u know what i mean.
*
i got this "Discount Voice" -RM7.69 in my last month bill. i am adv 50 user, suppose to pay RM242.74 with GST, but with this "Discount Voice -RM7.69" deducted, my total bill amount was RM235.05 only

how did you guys manage to get free voice. TM called a few times but they refuse to give me free voice even if i tell them i wont take the upgrade then. they call to offer AVD30 (currently VIP20) for 179 no free call. i tell them i would take AVD50 if they throw in free voice. allegedly no such offer - then they say will call back. once call back offer 30 AVD for 179 again. dont they want me to pay more?
*
i didn't get the free call in the beginning. i upgraded to 50mbps on august, i have to pay for the call i make, but don't know why started november i got the free call.

Guys, to use home plug, need to plug to wall socket, or can use on extension also?
*
better dont use with extension, with some extension signal might get degraded. some are worse, totally block the signal...i tried before

u can try to use on extension, if get signal degraded then only direct plug in into wall socket.

problem for me, only got 1 wall socket near my router. bad electrical planning sweat.gif
*
you can use homeplug with ac pass through as picture below. but not all extension are so bad, maybe i was unlucky used those that block the signal...i also use on belkin surge protector extension, this extension ok...no signal degraded.

Aztech HL113EP is 200Mbps. Will it be sufficient for 30Mbps line? I saw another homeplug with 1200Mbps, but twice the price. Any benefit in term of speed / latency?
*
Last time i use tp link 500Mbps homeplug, manage to get full 50Mbps, but starting speed slow, it need atleast 1s - 2s from 0 to 50Mbps. Now i no longer use homeplug, i connect my pc direct to router with 30m long lan cable, the starting speed hit 100Mbps then slow down to 50Mbps.

Guess I am one of those 'scammed' by TM when they offered to upgrade my VIP 10 to 30. Was paying the same amount so I agreed. Found out that I could get Unifi 50 at the same price so I came here to ask if it is possible.

Edit: I found out that I was subscribed to the HyppTV Megapack which cost me RM50.  sweat.gif
*
When you subscribe the megapack? when you upgrade to avd30 or before? if you still have contract for the megapack then u cannot cancel it, you have to add another rm50 for 50mb. sad.gif

Hey guys, just wondering if TM does block certain websites from being accessed?

I recently switched over to UniFi from Maxis Fibre and i could access all my usual websites except for a certain one.

use google or open dns will solve the problem

Consistently? Usually the speed burst up ridiculously and then slows down back to the speed of your package.

Yes, at least it is something they did it automatically without much requests from the public. laugh.gif
Consistent or not? Try uploading a big file and see if it is really 50Mbps upload. tongue.gif
*
all other servers i get 20mbps, only perlis server i get almost 50mbps...may be something wrong with that server. sweat.gif

Update: tested upload file to one drive, 20mbps only. But 20mbps it's enough for me, seldom upload big file.
