hi guys...
im planning to upgrade my unifi to 30mb/5mb plan from my existing 5mb/5mb plan. Will be going to TM Kepong today/tommorow for the upgrade. can share me any tips ?

Should i
1) just go for upgrade ?
2) terminate existing plan n register new plan, I heard you can get all the new devices with this option, including the new hypptv box (the white ones( which you can sideload lots of android apps.
3) any other tips in order to get the order processed faster is much appreciated.

Thanks
*
Don't expect much with hypptv android box but i still recommend subscribe new account unless you can get better deal if uograde (free call, 10mb upload etc)
if new account make sure to terminate old account just after new one activated

Can anyone recommend me a decent router?

The one currently supplied by Unifi isn't "bad" but its signal isn't strong enough. Couldn't get any when I'm in my room. My budget is no more than RM200.00.
*
Asus RT N12 D1
can cover my entire 1200sqft apartment
i even can get 1 bar at my parking lot, my apartment at level 3

WOAH! naise!! my condominium unit is 2k sqft but if you can get 1 wifi bar signal from 3 floors down then I think i shouldn't have any problem covering the entire unit.

what is the ongoing market rate for this router?

compatible with unifi 30? just plug and play or requires installation etc?
*
plug n play but you need password for your unifi service (weird alpha numeric lower upper case)

my parking lot not at basement so through 3 floor not actually right
3 floor high with two concrete wall and my jazz wall/windscreen.haha...

i bought mine from Lazada RM129 before discount (Sept 2014) whistling.gif

Probably but I don't think they will block it, based on what? laugh.gif
I heard some credit cards have issue with it. CIMB is one of them.
I'm yet to try, will check it out later. laugh.gif
*
not block la, limited the access, throttle down.
then all buffering like crap same like kodi.
this was not happening during my VIP5..

Nope, I have done tonnes of online transactions with my CIMB Cash Rebate Plat, so it doesn't need a physical swipe transaction. I will probably try tonight.
I haven't tried Kodi yet so I don't know if it the speed is throttled. hmm.gif
Was thinking to try it out soon. laugh.gif
