Hi all,

I'm currently stress testing my pc now and i have motherboard monitor installed. what kinda anomalies do i need to look out at the +12v +3.3v and +5v to see if my Power Supply is functioning well?

+- around what region should those figures be at? (current figures while stress testing +12v= fluctuating from 11.65v to 11.71v, +3.3v=3.33v, +5v=5.03v)

my pc was turning off by itself since last night. i removed my side casing intake fan, and it seems more stable now.

currently only powering my Motherboard Asus M4N78-Pro + geforce 6600GT, 500GB WD HDD, and one Sunon exhaust fan.

hope to get some advise here to see if my power supply is giving way.

Thanks

is it safe to run a gtx570 on 600w psu that has a 80 gold rating??

A GTX570 requires a minimum of 38A 12V and a 600W PSU goes beyond 38A so you don't have to worry

Question, is a Gigabyte GT Odin 720W enough to power up
1. CF 5850x2, plus
2. an OC-ed i5 2500k
3. 1 SATA HDD?

A friend even tested the Corsair HX750 with SLI GTX580, OCed 2600K and RAID SSDs, all running no problems

GTX590, recommend at least a 750W-800W on the safe side
GTX570 already needs at least 550W smile.gif
