My only gripe about the game this morning was how terrible Gibbs was when he came on.

I am sure he was brought on to provide extra cover to DEFEND on the left.

It really annoyed me to see Gibbs ball watching from the corner of my TV on so many occasions when Navas, Sagna and Toure were overlapping and overloading our left hand side. He virtually left Nacho to the slaughterhouse for that final 10 minutes or so. Heck even Theo provided more cover when he was on the left wing.

Instead he was playing like an attacker waiting for a clearance to break forward.
