The NFC card is like your old TNG card. It's the same. It just has the NFC function to allow you to reload into it from your phone.

Ah so there is no point of reloading with large amount then. My toll usage is consider low about RM160 or less.

for 160, if u have hlb wise or uob one, u can get "free toll" rm15 (hlb on weekend) or rm10 (uob) cashback max if u topup at jaya grocer

Actually I’m using RFID now and my wife is driving the sedan car 😄 while I drive the MPV to work. My toll is even lower probably about RM32/month, use RFID also. I’m currently just carrying my IC squeeze in between the phone and the case 🤣, as I’m using apple pay for CC payment and TnG for any purchase from hawker. Basically cardless. If they digitalise IC like driving license that would be even much better. So the TnG NFC card would be a problem to me if the return is less. Since I can’t use it to pay for food that is even more a let down 😅

Subang LRT station reload Kiosk accepts TNG ewallet, so i'm using that to reload my classic TnG card from my phone. saves me the need to buy an NFC card (obviously this will only be true if Subang LRT is near/convenient to you)

but maximum RM200 only, I go there for 3 weeks in a row to top up scare they think I sus tho.

buy NFC card only 1 time, u everytime go kiosk more waste time

it's convenient for me since i buy monthly pass and i pass by Subang LRT everyday. that's why i mention "near/convenient". i don't plan to buy any more classic/NFC TnG cards, this tech should be retired

No Surchage as far as i know, i just asked for touch n go reload pin, and tapped my amex card. then they gave me a code and i use my tng app to reload via the code given

anyone reload at jaya grocer recently ? i tried reloading at Jaya Grocer @ KL East Mall, the staff told me, they no longer provide reloading service starting 2024.

I reloaded mine at jaya grocer eco ardance on 2jan, still accepted.

Depends on some place that newly open, like Sunway Pyramid. The staff mentioned no TNG card reload service when I requested last month.

But other places that I reloaded successfully are IOI Rio and Midvalley
