Tried to do it at Shell Sg Nibong penang, but they say can’t. Watson also reject payment to topup using ewallet

I managed to top-up TnG card using Boost at Shell Green Lane, near Gembira Parade there. Transaction done at around 9am today.

How they charge?

I top-up RM50 so RM49.50 goes into my TnG card & another RM0.50 as fee.

Boost shake reward gave me RM1.00.

Just done mine too.
Every RM100 top up charge RM0.50.
No choice, Penang not much option (ok, almost no option).
Penangites, better top up while possible, i foresee they will stop it very soon.

If you're referring to topping up TnG card using Boost, then no; I've read a couple posts where some stations reject TnG payment via Boost.

No, not every, in fact only a handful (and may not last long).
Many stations told me can use for petrol and goods, except t&g.

Guys try to insist on using Boost, I was told the same, only petrol and goods, then I said other station also allows, then the Bangla said oh then ok la, since other stations also allow.

Really not sure what's their problem of allowing that, anyway they also charge the top up fees already. Moreover, since they accept credit card, it's the same right, unless they're saying the pay higher fees to Boost than credit card.

They not preferring Boost since for TnG they must pay first by cash. Their TnG terminal is prepaid first before reloading to our card. That’s why some counter said system down while actually they don’t have enough credit in the TnG terminal

But it's the same right, if they accept credit card? To me, if they accept credit card they have to accept Boost unless their terms is only cash for T&G.

There was a RM0.50 service charge in his photo.

Rm0.50 is normal. Usually petrol station that allow to use credit card will impose additional 1-2% of the reload amount.

Didnt know this shell accepted cc for topping up TnG. Will try for my next top up.

Just reloaded Rm200 with Amex at Jaya Grocer Eco Ardence Setia Alam. Cashier swipe Rm200 get 199.50 TNG amount.
