Haiz, went to Giant Bandar Kinrara 5, Puchong 2 days also TnG terminal down.

Gonna try Petronas @ Sungai Besi-Puchong Bypass (beside Kinrara Furniture Street) later with my Citibank card (sign up promo cash back). Should be fine right?

Seems quite frequent, few weeks back I went there 3 days in a row, all 3 days system down.

Sometimes is the stupid employee making their own call/ discretion.

1) AEON Sunway Pyramid
Ground floor clearly advertised can top up, but every time staff said cannot, machine spoilt, etc, got a feeling they're lazy
Customer service counter - sometimes they allow credit card, sometimes cash only. It really depends on the staff. When I question, they said itu staff lain, memang tak boleh

2) Giant Kinrara
There are so many feedback before that CC not allowed anymore, or system down. Again, I can tell you it's the stupid staff. Got 1 particular staff super terrible, every time I go, she will either say system down or CC not allowed.

Then I question further, and ask for other staff to attend to me, then allowed.

I was able to reload touch n go using CC in giant kinrara last friday (15/2/19)

There's one particular employee always say cannot, giving all sort of reasons.
She's either lazy, or she really incompetent/ not sure how to do it

Did you ask before you pass the tng and cc to them?

Because I always asked can I top up using cc, they said no straightway.

Yes I always ask, if they said cannot, I will ask why cannot, then sometimes they allow, sometimes they try to goreng, and sometimes they insist cannot

Guys try to insist on using Boost, I was told the same, only petrol and goods, then I said other station also allows, then the Bangla said oh then ok la, since other stations also allow.

Really not sure what's their problem of allowing that, anyway they also charge the top up fees already. Moreover, since they accept credit card, it's the same right, unless they're saying the pay higher fees to Boost than credit card.

They not preferring Boost since for TnG they must pay first by cash. Their TnG terminal is prepaid first before reloading to our card. That’s why some counter said system down while actually they don’t have enough credit in the TnG terminal

But it's the same right, if they accept credit card? To me, if they accept credit card they have to accept Boost unless their terms is only cash for T&G.

Exactly. Good move by some malls now to offer Paywave options in addition to T&G so that T&G is not able to monopolise. Example is Main Place mall.

So far few places I used PayWave also charge 10%

If both also with surcharge, I go for Paywave since Paywave is via credit card while T&G is prepaid. I don't see why I should pay extra to T&G since my money is already parked into T&G.

Previously, the arguement is that the surcharge is imposed by the malls, but we now know it's not the case as T&G announced that they will remove the surcharge.

But there are malls that are progressively removing the surcharge, so it's a fair move. Hopefully, it's done soon.

Agree and tng always play the denial game. One way or another tng imposed some fees to the mall which was passed on to the customers
