To top up your Touch n’ Go card, all you need to do is to tap on the Transfer button on the main page and choose the TnG card in the next screen, enter your Touch n’ Go serial number and reference number, you should be able to see your updated balance thereafter on a Touch n’ Go terminal.

issue with the underlying technology with MIFARE Classic which TnG is based on. But looking at TnG action this pass year their strategies seems to be phasing out TnG Card as in Shop/Transit use QR code. Car use MyRFID which both support online top up via CC or ebanking

just wondering, if we scan TnG App to scan QR code to pay for shop/transit, if our phone cannot connect to the internet, no signal or no data, then can those payment proceed?

Don't think can proceed. Probably payment will fail.

It's called mobile payment.
You need Internet connection to make the payment being either WiFi or mobile data.

Petronas @ tapah north bound says no longer accept CC for reload. Not sure is it true for other cashier.

Petronas @ Bagan Ajam charged 2% for total topup.

Tried to reload TnG at Giant BK5 with CC but they said only accept cash

Anyone try before using Citi Cash Back Card to reload on Jaya Grocer, does it consider TnG card reload as grocery and eligible for cash back if payment is made using Samsung Pay?
Also, how much is the latest service charge for reloading in Jaya Grocer and does it subjected to SST?

SPay is still using original MCC. It is not considered as online.
JG service charge (not surcharge) is 50 cents. Not sure if it attracts SST.
Since JG is recognized in the TnC, you should be able to get your cash back.

I think you should look for TnG e-wallet merchants.
Not TnG physical reloads merchant like those with e-pay machine and etc.

TnG e-wallet and TnG physical card are two separately entities/systems as of now.
They're not seamlessly interlinked.

FYI, Family Grocer @ Emerald Avenue, Selayang had closed down. Don't know where it moves to.
