My thoughts of the game can finally be summarized :
1 ) The cinematic presentation have always been a strong point for David Cages games . This time they took it to a new height , the motion capture from these actors who portrayed the game characters are unbelievably realistic . In fact I have never seen a game with such a stunning motion capture for facial expression beside L.A Noire , in which case I think D:BH has surpassed the latter in every aspect.
2) The controls are still clunky at times . They have improved from Heavy Rain but some of those 3-4 buttons sequences are still a nuisance . I often had to cross both of my hands since some combination of 4 buttons are difficult to press (and hold ) . Outside of the cutscenes and dialogue choices , the camera control is poor and problematic . When the game require you to pinpoint to a precise location , it is often difficult to . Character movement are not very responsive either , my Connor was knocking tables all the time.
3) The writings are decent, there are some tear-jerking and heartwarming moment but if you are an analytical and logical person like me you will start to find all sort of loopholes within the plot , especially with the Androids

*Connor has said the androids do not feel pains , yet both Markus and Connor showing a painful expression and gesture when a human punched them ? OOOps
*Alice being an android , yet she is still constantly being served foods in the game ? Or the child model has a special function where she can digest food from human ? Although that seems unlikely as the investigation in the chapter " THE NEST " suggested all Deviants /Android do not have to eat .
*Kara knew Alice was an android from the start , she has chosen to ignore it . Before she gone deviant , she was still cooking up spaghetti for Alice ?
*Android's constant fear of dying , in fact they are basically immortal as long as their memory remain intact . As seen by the Connor models , their memories can also be uploaded from 1 to another . Connor can actually repair some of those Androids with technical prowess , they can be powered up for a short time after bio component damage . They can also be repaired even if damaged , Kara 's limbs were ripped off by Todd from the start .
4) The android of the menu , Chloe is particularly charming and she reacts accordingly to your playtime and activities , sadly once she was released from the game there is no way to get her back.
5) The game was enjoyable for the first play through . But replaying it multiple times quickly become a frustrating chore . Many of the long chapters do not have enough checkpoints ,you often have to spend extra hours to replay the entire chapters to see different outcome. The game also hook you up with many many of those " Press X to Jason " tedious task from heavy rain .
6) Some chapters obviously had received much less attention from the dev and they are very linear such as Markus 's came back from
