I just bought a whole lot of imported chocolates and some of them have 5% alcohol. Can Muslim take these chocolates? If not, I'll just give them chocolates without alcohol.

Any advice would be helpful.

it depends on the muslim teachings you get from your ustaz. Some say can and some say cannot.

One of my Muslim friend said can. Cause the reason why muslims are not allowed to drink alcohol is because getting drunk cause you to be a nuisance. And you do things that you might regret later. However if you drink a bit and not get drunk, it is not really an issue.

So in this issue about eating chocolate with liquor. Will it make you drunk? Certainly not. So if you believe in this teaching then go ahead and try some.

For some people, they just follow blindly. People say no then just no. Don't ask and don't know.

It is advisable to not consume alcohol at all because different people have different tolerance to alcohol. Some get drunk easily and some don't. you can give to your muslim friend, but only a sample la.. not the whole box. lol
