Just got my car in Penang. E spec Modern Steel.
So far I have not found any issues with the car. *Touch wood.
I've driven the car for a week now. milleage is at 300km with 4 fuel bar left (10.2km/l). I was actually expecting better FC. Ive been driving with eco mode on and accelerating embarassingly slow to the point of being overtaken by myvis and sorts to keep the eco assist lights in green all the way.... lol. Is it because its still new? I am hoping the FC satisfaction picks up.
Am thinking of adding DRL (single lined at the middle, not the L Shape type) or Fog lamp and custom fit sun shades.
Any accessories shop to recommend within the Penang Island area for the above mentioned additions?
In Penang Ive seen a Honda City with Honda Grace led tail lights. Its freaking sweeettttt!!!! Those led lights sold in Mudah.my can't compare to the elegance of original Honda tail lights.

honda grace tail lights, herrmm, modern steel color ?
with grace emblem, stainless steel number plate frame ?

Not Modern Steel. Black.
I was too fixated with the leds to take notice of the other details of the car. Sorry.
But I am definite it was a black city.
Via instagram I know there are a few peeps in Malaysia with Grace tail lights.
One guy even has Grace led front lights fitted to his city. cool looking.....

The trick is... Switch off eco mode.  It's totally useless.  U get better fc that way
*
Alright thanks.
Was thinking the first full tank will use eco mode all the way...and then switch off eco mode the next full tank.
Lets see how it goes.

haha, desmond's car
okay, i know who's the black city's owner, the dude had gold grace emblem, grace headlights and tail lights fitted on
*
I think the car you are reffering to is the car featured in honda.grace.my instagram account.
The black city with full grace led headlights and taillights. If not mistaken the guy is from KL right?
The one I saw was Penang Plate ....if i remember correctly.....
The bottom line.....is damn yeng.

grace headlights is about rm3k minimum... but haven't include the harness...
*
wow wow wow ....that will cost a bomb. for both headlights and tail lights.
IMHO tail lights first, then headlights or maybe not.
People tend to notice tail lights more in terms of pure asthetics. I know I do.
Apologies if I have offended anyone but those mudah.my headlights looks okayish...acceptable
but the led tail lights following BMW style ...they look a bit over the top.

Do Door Visors minimize the amount of wind noise that gets into the car cabin?
How are your experiences before and after installation?

Anyone managed to claim their battery before the letter comes? My aunty just told me her friend's 2015 City with Yokohama battery "exploded"... well that's what I heard and a bit worried now with mine.
*
My first 1k inspection coming soon....already made appointment. Asked my SA if I could get my battery fixed at the same time. SA said battery recall only can be done after you get the letter from Honda.

I have not experienced this with my city. But i have heard of Kia Forte....after 7 days of non usage, Engine wont start.

My mom owns a toyota vios. Battery KOed after 2 years. Car is parked in the condo parking lot. Toyota said won't come to tow unless car is outside on the road. So asked SC to come to take a look, they said its not their SOP to come check and change battery remotely outside of SC. Dafuq reasoning is this, how to get the car to the SC if it won'st start. Anyhow got the battery replaced by outside mechanic.

Is this the same for Honda? Cos i also live in a condo.

Hi bros, how is the handling and highway drive for honda city? Currently looking for Jetta but quite worry about the reliability...
*
I drove 120km/h on the Penang Lim Chong Eu expressway the other day. At night without much traffic. To break in my engine(Not sure its still needed but heck I did it anyway.)
Sad to say it was kinda floaty at high speeds...and the steering is super light. It didn't have a solid feel to it.
I drove an accord before....altough the steering is also very light...it wasnt as floaty as City.

Lim Chong Eu expressway is damn floaty due to poor maintenance as some location are sinking. I never go beyond 100kmh on it.

Try Penang 2nd bridge or the PLUS highway. I tried ~150kmh then start to feel floaty.
*
Oh...No wonder. Prior to this was driving like old uncle. So that night took it out for a high speed spin.
I will try the second bridge one of this nights, but does the construction close the road leading to the bridge at night?

Most car manufacturers in Malaysia is like that... Suzuki and Toyota also void warranty when change rims... Not only Honda and Lexus...
*
I asked Desmond on his city changing to Grace taillights. He said wont void warranty.
He already has the tail lights for a year plus.
I think the best thing is not to change anything. Its a nice car even without any changes done to it.

So I went to KL over the weekend. Here is the verdict.
I am impressed with the car. Drove 160km/h still not so floaty. Super damn steady. Close to 165 then it starts to float a bit. Didnt manage to hit 170 though.
Comparing with Vios which starts to float at 140km/h.
NVH for city is also way way better than Vios.
