I am looking to buy second hand E200 Merc. What do you guys think about second hand 3-4 years E200. First time owning a german car, not sure is it as reliable as Japanese second hand?

Hey guys, wanna ask if CLA200 2014 model, any problems? and wat is the main diff betwen 2014 & 2018 CLA200?

Errrr can i know wats the main diff between them? like system upgrade? engine upgrade? keyless? suspension? etc? hahaz not talking about 1.6cc

do additional rubber really reduced the wind and road noise if install?

Yes.. now i only can hear these noise when speed over 130.

Don't know! Don't like the design! Front and rear like cut and paste! A klass looks better IMHO!

Facelifted,obvious new rear lamp.
i would consider A-class since both has almost the same interior spacing . Except for the back trunk
And new A-class got more led features

It is just as reliable as Japanese cars within the first 4-6 years of ownership.

Mercedes are much more expensive to own as their servicing costs are high. And parts are very expensive too.

Nowadays mercs car are quite low in quality! Especially the interior! The best was the w124! Till now no fading or cracks whatsoever interior wise! Reliability depends on luck la! So many electronic stuffs, risk are there! But one thing, when there is any warning icon appeared, better fast hand fast leg go check it out!

Very sad news to share for my C350e..

Since last Saturday, the car suddenly has no more cool air coming out from the aircond after having lunch for 1 hour and parked under a tree shade.

Dropped the car on Monday in C&C PJ for inspection on what issue then technician called back said they can't figure out what's the problem as it's never been encountered before. Probably something to do with hybrid system not supplying power to the aircond compressor but not confirmed. They said will easily take 1 week+ to even find out what problem and god knows how long to fix it.

Really unfortunate and disappointed with Merc's QC and that such a problem can occur to a 1+ year old car.

Any current C350e owners please beware!

i have this frequent problem with my gla. the car sometime struggling to move from standstill (comfort /eco mode) crossing nontraffic light really an issue.

hard to duplicate when at service centre.

Turbo lag! The seven speeders is famed for this!

is there any "official" solution for this?. i still got 3 years of warranty

As far as I know, there is none! Just have to live with it! It's not a 'fault ' determined by MBM! It's the characteristic of the gear box! The 8 speeders is much better!

Diverter Valve claims by GLA Club overseas that works eliminating turbo lag. GFB DV+ from Aussie. its plug and play.

You can try and kiss your warranty goodbye!
