Still on vanilla version and not sure if it is worth to get TTK ...

Depends on your expectation though, most of the people I know who got it are still playing it today but do know this. If you are starting fresh, you may end up having alot of catching up to do and if you remain in the vanilla you will only go a certain distant. So it really depends on you bruh.

Im new too!! I just reached lvl40 but with lights around 210.

welcome to the team.. I'm still playing the game despite it's a year old already. there are still a lot active raider in BT.
i'm part of them as well..

go level up fast, once u reach 200++ light lvl then you will be enjoying the end game content more.

recommended min light lvl for the end game activities:
1. Vanguard heroic strike - 240
2. Nightfall - 280
3. KF normal - 290
4. KF hard - 305

for year 1 end game content:
1. VOG NM - lvl 25
2. VOG HM - lvl 30
3. Crota end NM - lvl 31
4. Crota end HM - lvl 32
5. Prison of elder 35 - lvl 35

I saw the clan but yet to apply to join, will do it once I came back from business trip.

One question, if I got an exotic or legendary Ingram, should I open it now with my 210 lights or I need to wait until I hit 280++ light?

I also just started Destiny..joined this chat group and got me poison..hahaha..

Baru play about 2 hours in only..prior to that had a Rocket League session with Zozi and kena trashed nicely by him

If it is yellow engram probably best to open when u reach LL 280++, if is just purple then just open it I think.
I think one way to boost LL fast is stack up pile of engram then open it slowly 1 by 1 with ur highest LL.
