Alienware when compare to z7/5 which 1 is better? Z5/7 is more worth the money right?
Bang for buck probably the z5/z7 but Alienware build quality is rock solid and it comes with the well praised dell warranty. At the price for 6k~ budget the only thing the Alienware lacks compared to illegear might be storage space since it only comes with 256gb ssd and display size. Not sure if it has a slot for another drive.
Saw on reddit people replacing the screen on their Dell 7567. I wonder if there's any shop already offering to do this and how much it'd cost if based on what I saw in reddit probably extra rm500?
The pricing doesn't make sense lol. Like almost they're making the i5 model cheaper by purpose, and increasing the price of the i7 above average to compensate for it haha
Yeah the 1k upgrade for i7 really doesn't make much sense from 3399 to 4399 . Even dell doing this from i5 to i7 is a 1k hike.
Hi all any news on the HP pavilion 15t-bc200 ? It is budget gaming laptop with gtx1050 starting from USD749! Would like to know the price in malaysia!!
749 usd current 3.3k rm. Can get the lenovo y520 also ips with gtx1050
3700+ 10504gb, 3399 get 1050 2gb, is worthgetting 4gb?
IMO, when buying at this range the 2gb vram and 4gb vram doesn't make much of a difference unless you plan on playing games with ultra setting textures (which you shouldn't aim to anyways since this is considered the lower end of gaming laptop alr). playing at 1080p 2gb vram should be sufficient. At RM3.7k that 7567 model only comes with HDD and 4gb ram, the difference in price can be used to add an ssd and ram to the y520 With the added bonus of an IPS display in the y520. So if you're planning on going for the GTX1050 I'd consider the Y520 at 3399 a better buy. If you want a 1050TI then hands down the 7567 wins cause Dell was smart and has an i5 variant.
Online price 4299 but I think still possible to find shops selling it at 3999 but might be harder already I guess. Even at 4299 is still a decent buy since it does already come with an ssd. Although again with the 7567 and at that price, what it boils down to is whether you can accept the screen quality. Haven't seen the 7567 for myself but based on reviews the screen quality is definitely not the best and is of lower end TN quality. Depends on what you're currently using too, probably a bigger factor for someone who's been using an ips display than someone coming from another TN panel.
But if you have the money then can consider illegear Q5 Evo which does come with IPS and 1050ti. Slightly pricier than the Dell though.
I'd go with the Q5 Evo just because of the screen . But definitely need to add on an ssd there. Out of curiosity how do you get them to offer you lower price?
If I were to add another 4Gb ram on Dell 7567 then 2 slots already occupied, no chance to upgrade in future already. Illegear upgrades to 8GB only uses 1 slot.
Dell's HDD is only 5400RPM, is it a lot of difference with 7200RPM hard disk?
Besides that Illegear Q5 Evo has IPS screen and RGB keyboard, Dell 7567 only got TN screen and single light keyboard.
I think you yourself also leaning more towards the Illegear already The RPM on the harddisk doesn't make that much of a difference, maybe a bit but not as significant as an ssd. SSD is a must in modern laptops nowadays IMO. The difference is very noticeable especially if you've never used one before One more thing you might want to consider is battery life, the Dell has a much bigger battery compared to the Q5 Evo. Most reviews say the Dell can last around 6 to 8 hours on the battery on light taks such as browsing etc.
Looking at the way they're pricing things now I have a feeling we won't be seeing FX502 in the local market anymore sad thing though as it was definitely the best bang for buck laptop.
hmm.. giving a choice of Dell Inspiron 7559 and 7567 . which one will you go for? because singapore is having some huge discount for 7559 (4k version)
Get the 7567 bro. Unless screen is really important to you but even then the 7559 doesn't have enough power to drive that 4k screen for gaming. Good for media consumption but definitely not for gaming.
Hey there Sifu out there. just a quick newbie question.
The Acer VX specs sure are snappy! but there is not SSD support unlike the one provided by Dell 7567 with 500gb HHD and 128 SSD (but the shitty screen. Msia is bringing in the TN panel, but overseas have changed to IPS panels).
Was wondering with the HDD is it okay? i only have dota2 as my game. What do u reckon? In addtion, i found out that to add SSD into Acer VX u will require to purchase the bracket and cable from them, as it's not install in the laptop except a empty compartment.
None the less, would not mind if u guys can advice me on other models =) Which is the best bang for the buck? Asus, lenovo, dell or the acer. Or would you wait for another 6months for AMD ryzen laptops ?
Only dota 2 then can go for the lenovo y520 base model. Add ram + ssd still less than 4k. 1050 more than enough to run dota 2 at max settings. I5 and I7 not much performance difference in games.
