Dear Maxis,

I am also experiencing high latency to steam server, the rectification has been on going for months now, which is unacceptable. Since maxis is not be able to provide an ETA, i like to request for rebate for the bill until maxis can give a reasonable solution instead of generic we are aware and working statement. I use my line mostly for gaming, and this ping make the online experience very frustrating. I have waited for one month for improvement but maxis is progress does not convince me anymore.

Please revert with some proposal for rebate, before i bring this to SKMM like many have done. Please pm me for my account details.

Mate, just change your services, Maxis is a piece of shit right now, let's just say shit are better than them. Their services are like crap, all replies are the same bullshit all over and over again. Maxis is just a BULLSHIT company that doesn't do shit to let the customer to have a better latency, it's been over a year and they're still saying the same crap " Thank you for your feedback. We are aware on the issue and in the midst of rectifying the issue.

You can't really blame the customer service, it's their network engineer's fault for not rectifying this problem asap. Customer service just forward your problem to them.

Have a look at the data collected using ping plotter. As you can see, right after 203.116.8.22 which says that their peer routing doesn't have any problem to singapore since 203.116.8.22 is a server located in sinagpore. The problem lies between 203.116.8.22 and sgp-1.valve.net. It's not just maxi's problem I'm using unifi and take a look at the ping, it's similar to you guys.

the last 2 hops belongs to singapore.... obviously its not maxis if you ask me... my 2 cent goes to the routing problem on international link ... not sure maxis intentionally doing it ... or just pure nut case at singapore doing this to maxis ip address

Regardless of service provider, malaysian isp had fucked up international peer routing. The only solution is to immigrate.

Guys, WTFast is a good temporary solution. Choose either My4 or My5 server then you are good to go with < 50 ping. Ive been using it for awhile and it solved my problem.

The only problem with WTFast is you will get packet loss at 20% max sometimes.
