I think maybe is your battery issue. If your friend using Note4 then swap the battery for 1 day use. See got different or not cause original battery a bit expensive.

uhm.. went to the samsung retail shop thought can check the button just to know has to send to another service center which operating from 10am-7pm. :

I step in the service center, and ask for number
then the staff who sit the ticketing machine ask me what problem ? I replied GPS
then start the long story, don't even give me any number at all
