My note 4 reset last night after update xme marshmallow. Now not hot already.. it is same temperature as my lollipop before..

I did disable a lot of system app and third party app from auto start too

Yes,the phone is hot at the back.currently it maintain at 48c.dont know what is trigger it like that.

Only worry if the continuely high temp can effect the mainboard.

It weird as before this i only wipe cache and only factory reset it twice after back up my whatsapp n other.

updated to MM and rooted, so far battery life quite good... i did a full wipe out though~
will need to monitor the next few days and see

*slight problem though, not able to write to external memory card~ my usual sd fix app isn't working.
i like using Vignette (camera app) and save the pictures to my external sd card, had no problem with it since the SD card fix app works, but now since updating to MM, the app is broke... and I can't save pics into sd card.
anyone can help?

i just update and wipe cache partition..dint bother to do reset...so far..so good...no problem...

just cannot use Adblock Plus anymore..
