QUOTE(badSeed @ Apr 20 2016, 12:17 PM) weak signal for celcom if you're using LTE/WCDMA/GSM, switch to WCDMA/GSM and you'll get better signal reception but no LTE lol.. oh dear~ i guess i will hold off on updating to this FW.it's the same thing with 5.1.1 (XME N910CXXS2CPD3 N910COLB2COJ5) and 6.0.1 (XEO) by the way 5.1.1 (XME N910CXXS2CPD3 N910COLB2COJ5) really F-upped my phone causing it to run damn hot and battery drained super fast, hoping better experience with M anyone else also having the same hot + batt drain fast issue? |

QUOTE(Raymond Chong LK @ Apr 20 2016, 07:34 PM) If you're referring to 6.0.1, then nope I didn't have any heat or battery issues since I updated with XOE last night. Signal with Maxis still strong (except it's displaying LTE now, instead of 4G when I was still using XME 5.1.1). no no, was referring to the Lollipop N910CXXS2CPD3still waiting for XME version of MM QUOTE(badSeed @ Apr 20 2016, 10:25 PM) I think you misunderstood, it's Malaysian Lollipop update last week that's causing the heat n battery draining issue. I need to solve that problem so took the chance to use Poland's Marshmallow. So far so good yup I was asking about that. Might just hold off updating to the XME N910CXXS2CPD3 and wait patiently for XME MM. hope CF auto Root will be compatible by then~This post has been edited by midnight_plue: Apr 21 2016, 02:58 PM |

hi! want to ask i dl the FW right, it contains 4 files: BL, AP, CSC and CP.
do we need to flash all 4 files? Or only select AP file to flash in order to update FW? my normal FW files only contain one AP file... but this time i got 4, so a bit unsure. Thanks in advance. |

updated to MM and rooted, so far battery life quite good... i did a full wipe out though~
will need to monitor the next few days and see *slight problem though, not able to write to external memory card~ my usual sd fix app isn't working. i like using Vignette (camera app) and save the pictures to my external sd card, had no problem with it since the SD card fix app works, but now since updating to MM, the app is broke... and I can't save pics into sd card. anyone can help? QUOTE(ohmlawx @ May 28 2016, 11:21 AM) nope, no permanent fix for now. i have already checked on XDA and various forum... nothing concrete.i guess app developer need to update their app to allow the app to access to external storage, instead of relying 1 app to fix this like it did for Kitkat n Lollipop QUOTE(chuahcs79 @ May 28 2016, 11:29 AM) yeah i also got it done, thank god no full wipe out. hoping battery performance is better though have to remove all the bloatware all over again |

QUOTE(chuahcs79 @ May 28 2016, 06:26 PM) I used the debloatware scripts from xda. And the rest of it I manually remove..plus usee link2sd to freeze some app.quite a work but battry improve. .. ah i use uninstaller app to remove, and use SD Maid to freeze some app, I do it manually QUOTE(XeactorZ @ May 28 2016, 07:17 PM) why need wipe ? ah, when i dl from sam firmware i ticked the binary nature so kena total wipe out unintentionally~ now i untick it so no need to wipe liao hahajust my opinion, if you are using stock rom with rooted, just flash the stock rom again then root back i used to use custom rom but then stop cuz dev don't update and i'm not that techy, plus no time... so stock rom + root for me XD if cf auto root no longer support i oso will dieeeee hahaha |
