No it wasn't 2018, it was 2019 as per contract. 42 months/3.5 years delivery from the date you sign S&P. They started work in Q3/Q4 2015, the building structure looks almost complete. Early buyers S&P signings took place in Q4 2015. So 3.5 years is actually end of Q1 2019. Looking at the pace I think they would be completing 6-9 months earlier than promised around Q1 or latest by Q2 2018.

1) Citizen was expected to be completed in Dec2017 ( pls correct me). Do we get compensation for delay?
- In S&P, it should be ready in Y2019, not sure where you get the info of ready in Dec Y2017

if you are referring to RPGT, no really.

You need to make gain (after deduction purchase price and expenses). The LHDN takes certaini percentage on the gain.

If loss, think can use it to offset the gain for next property.

Did you response to the right post? In this post you quoted, I did not say will make gain.

I’m responding the the statement ‘impossible, u still need to pay tax to government’.

Meaning a person won’t make loss because of tax as tax is only on profit. If ada profit, LHDN takes a portion of the profit, not selling price. If no profit, no tax.
