No it wasn't 2018, it was 2019 as per contract. 42 months/3.5 years delivery from the date you sign S&P. They started work in Q3/Q4 2015, the building structure looks almost complete. Early buyers S&P signings took place in Q4 2015. So 3.5 years is actually end of Q1 2019. Looking at the pace I think they would be completing 6-9 months earlier than promised around Q1 or latest by Q2 2018.

The date stated in S&P was the estimate completion & handover cannot be after that date, else will got penalty.

But it can be earlier so long the building is complete with CF

if you are referring to RPGT, no really.

You need to make gain (after deduction purchase price and expenses). The LHDN takes certaini percentage on the gain.

If loss, think can use it to offset the gain for next property.
*
Well, the interest you pay to bank already more than 10K, so how do you make gain...

Some more is not easy to sell @ SNP price.

Did you response to the right post? In this post you quoted, I did not say will make gain.

I’m responding the the statement ‘impossible, u still need to pay tax to government’.

Meaning a person won’t make loss because of tax as tax is only on profit. If ada profit, LHDN takes a portion of the profit, not selling price. If no profit, no tax.
*
Taxable is only on Profit gain, not the selling price. LHDN tax according to income or profit, since no profit, mean no tax.
