QUOTE(donknowdoncare @ Oct 18 2015, 12:57 PM) During 80s, anchovies were pretty much choices of poor people only.. The riches wont bat an eye at all.. But then, when ppl start to acknowledge the health benefit of anchovies, the price hike up crazily.. Now suddenly this article came out.. lets edit the wikipedia |

Domoic Acid resides mostly in their digestive tract. Just remove the guts before cooking. Oh wai, what about outside food especially my favorite nasi lemak .... |

QUOTE(han2019 @ Oct 18 2015, 02:51 PM) Of course, as most business people are profit orientated and removing the anchovies gut will cost time and labor. Only thing that can do is avoid it if possible or eat less frequent. If the craze for anchovies is unbearable, go get your waifu or galfren to cook it for you. Wimminz after all should stay in the kitchen. |

Yes, Malaysia do produce dried salted anchovies but some are imported from Thailand and Vietnam. |
