QUOTE(Hans.R @ Oct 27 2015, 11:35 AM) Yea man, it's kinetic QUOTE(ken_jr @ Oct 27 2015, 01:22 PM) It means the batt reserve is low. Since its a new acquisition, try to charge it up. Kinetic need a lot of swings to charge it up. Hope attached pages from the manual helps. oh wow, hundreds of swings to make it works? challenge accepted Edit. PS. If anyhow also can't get 30sec swing of second hand, then maybe the capacitor needs changing. He's charging me RM220 to change hairspring and balance wheel, along with a service. I think its a bit pricey, but want to try something other than Thong Sia. I've sent the watch in to TS twice in 3 years now, and every 12 months or so, the watch starts beating slower. Sometimes, it stops moving, even when being worn on the wrist. that's sweet man Anyway, ahpek says 1-2 weeks to complete, so let's see how it goes. In the meantime, already purchased a replacement Seiko 5 for her. She hasn't realized hers has gone missing. |

Hi Guys, so finally my baby tuna has arrived from Singapore! yeayy..
Here we go But I got questions about its condition: 1. The rotating bezel is very very tight that needs more force to rotate it.. More over it is surrounded by sharp-pointing-ends like monster's bezel style, makes my finger painful to do so. I have compared it with the same model in local shop and they happened to be looser, more convenient to rotate. Is it going to be loosen by time to time I kept rotate it? Or should I ask for replacement unit? 2. The Day display is English/Spanish instead of English/Roman Numbers as what I see in local shop. Does it mean something? Like made from where, market for where? Other than that I pretty much satisfied with this unit |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Oct 29 2015, 01:45 PM) bezel tight is normal cos it varies, before i bought mine i tried 3 different ones...1 was very tight...mine is still ok. Yea right..just bring back thong sia ask them if they can loosen it, i seriously doubt can exchange. spanish means u probably bought a grey set. This is the deal when purchase something online...can't really test on hand... I purchased from ebay seller bro (mad-watch) and the warranty card written as skywatches. Not sure if they are the same? Do you think Thongsia will help with this kind of purchase history? i.e. a grey set as you got mentioned |

Do you think Thongsia will help with this kind of purchase history? i.e. a grey set as you got mentioned I just called Thongsia and explain this issue and he advised me to just rotate the bezel under tap water or with soap. He said it's usually just dirt. I did it and it's working hahaha.. Hopefully this cheap method is a useful info for someone else with same issue |

QUOTE(Hans.R @ Oct 29 2015, 05:51 PM) This one is way better in my opinion. well yeah maybe from display? I don't know..Congratulations! But new ones shouldnt have dirt, no? Anyway thanks for sharing! and apparently that method was temporary only..once the soap dried up, bezel becomes stiff again will try to repair in Thongsia if possible, otherwise ask for replacement unit |
