Yes. A basic Seiko quartz chrono can probably be picked up for around RM800?
*
Quite a number of them below rm500 too

In general, I've noticed that most Seiko models sold across retail stores in Malaysia have gone up in price. The savvier folks buy online and usually end up paying less.
*
Online also go up. Those standard seiko5 increased almost 50% compared to 2 yrs ago

Just bought srp773... my first watch that has day on it... what curious me is why there is roman number between the day? for eg i-MON-ii-TUE-iii-WED-.....
*
Yeah both my seikos are like that. The roman numbers only appear shortly between day transitions. Not sure why.

Different ppl different opinion la. But to me it looks like he borrowed his dad's watch. tongue.gif

I see that there is lack of love for divers in the younger crowd, at least in my uni. Seiko chronos, Orient dress watches and Edifice are more popular. Of course G-shock and DW lead in popularity.

i guess for chronographs... the more popular ones are those that look like something else...SND371, SSB031... also got white dial variant.
*
SNDF95 is my all time favourite chrono. Really caught my eye when i first saw it. The design is also highly regarded in minitwatch YouTube review.

Can't afford expensive one but is there a good looking stainless steel automatic Seiko under 500? Was looking at Seiko 5 but some of it are too small at 38mm. Does it have 42mm with black dial?
*
This seiko 5 a bit bigger than the standard ones. It should be within yr budget. Not sure the model code.

I just saw this. The sunburst dial kinda resembles the 1 on the Cocktail Time. It's under the basic quartz series. Anyone knows the model number? Attached Image

Hi everyone,

Quick question - I have a new Seiko Sea Urchin (SNZF15) and would like to change the original metal bracelet to a leather strap (which I've already bought).

Can anyone tell me where I can get this strap change done? Can it be in any watch shop? How much would this service cost roughly?

Thank you!
*
I changed before twice at 2 different shops. Rm5.
