Can please recommend good places to shop for Grand Seiko where can get good prices and service.

U have to try Watatime in Pavilion or awg in Midvalley.

They don't have a great selection of models but they do give discounts which makes it cheaper than buying in Japan.

They might be able to order certain models for you too.

However do not expect super service from them... They are not the best when it comes to 'taking care' of your watches.

Sales girl dropped a gs on my nomos. Didn't bother apologizing. She dropped the GS. Seriously. And luckily my nomos was ok. This was 3 weeks before I went back again and bought my GS from them.

I relented because it was a limited edition. Wasn't expecting to buy but it was sitting there staring at me.

Removing links for the bracelet was the scariest. Luckily no scratches.

Left my watch at the shop coz i wanted to do more shopping. When I came back, sales girl was busy taking photographs of my watch to enter a competition which she claimed she was entering for me. BS.

I kept quiet... Just took my watch and left.

My gs had two nicks on the case when I inspected it closely after I got home. As it is a limited edition I didn't bother because;

1) I can't get it anywhere else

2) sending it back to them would mean polishing. No thank you.

S... Be prepared for such bullshit when u purchase from one of the two places I mentioned ya
